Bike Speed Limit in the Bike Lane ?

Those looking for higher speed limits for bikes should find this sign in Las Vegas interesting. Not the true bike speed limit, but fun to dream about.

That sign does not lie. If you can pedal 55 mph in that bike lane, it's legal.

But local law may not allow a motor to help you reach 55 mph, on an unlicensed bike with a motor.

Perfectly legal in my state as well as in the (rightmost) traffic lane with an ebike....

I go 16-20 mph on a well traveled bike lane. When its dead on a Sunday, ill go 30-40 mph.
