Blogs, Web-Magazines for E-bikes, E-scoots, and E-moto's

Do you just want news blogs here, or blogs like my project blog?

Thread has remained short, so go ahead and add any blog links that are even vaguely related. I think everyone is aware that press releases are overly "optimistic" about the hill-climbing power and range they post. Yet its still interesting and useful to read some of the things that companies announce they are doing or planning to do...

Then here's my project blog, which is essentially about building the whole thing from recycled parts, some of which might actually have originally been intended for bicycle use. ;)

http://electricle.blogspot.com

It's got almost a couple hundred posts in the last couple of years, ranging from when I was first starting and learning this stuff, to now when I have a fully working custom-built semi-recumbent electric-assisted cargo bike.

Eventually it'll have my trike build on there too, once I get enough pieces to start it. Since I try to use only recycled stuff, it's hard to find just the right bits sometimes. :)

Of course, since it *is* about using recycled stuff, there isn't likely to ever be anything in the way of breaking news about new EVs or EV parts on it. ;)

Another useful build blog would be the one at http://www.packratworkshop.com/bindex.htm
with more info at the rest of the site.

amberwolf, I think your blog will turn out to be very useful to many people. The things that worked for you will obviously help, but also things you tried that didn't work out are useful because others may get some of the same ideas. No need to test-out re-inventing the wheel if you already posted the results...

Thanks. That's why I try to document especially the stuff that's just plain dumb but might not seem that way at first (like my steering tie rod made from eye bolts, roller skate bearings, and weedeater handle-pole), and requires some serious rethinking to make it work (which it does now).
