Has anyone finally found a way to dual up a Bosch Powertube battery other than using genuine Powertube batteries. The wiring harness is available and the later motors ( from about 2020 onward ) are setup together with some of the Bosch displays to show two batteries.

However I don't need all the extra weight of say a 500Wh battery, all I need is a small bottle type extender type of about 125Wh's to add to the 625Wh battery I'm using. Quite happy to make the battery but its the CAN signals that are the problem.

You can make a smaller pack with a bosch bms. Best not to use the powertube bms, use a rack version or frame version.

I've found a way of using the Bosch BMS as an activator for other universal batteries, still some more tests to be done though. High precision is needed. Also looking for an extra controller PCB to add more temp protection, since Bosch only has 1 sensor.
