Not sure what the value would be on one of these, any ideas? The seller is just asking for best offer.

The seller has been spamming that ad all over Craigslist - it came up in the Los Angeles Craigslist as well.

I have seen a LOT of Bradley GT's get re-listed and linger until the owner gives up. Most of them are basket cases that I wouldn't take for free, but ones in decent running shape might be a good start.

I note the ad specifically does not say it is running, so I suspect the batteries are dead. Many of the electric conversions are driven by 6 inch motors, which are useless in a vehicle this size IMO.

I'd take a look at it, and run screaming if it is a basket case - if it rolls and the brakes work and it doesn't look/smell like squirrels have been living in it, I would start at $800, add more if it can actually be test driven, add more if the lead-acid still has life, add more for a 8" or larger motor. With a 9" DC motor and decent controller and "functioning" lead-acid pack and in perfect needs-nothing running shape and current registration, 3k-4k.

Says he has a high bid of $10,000. I'm out. Way more than I was looking to pay.

... and those kinds of theatrics are why he has to spam craigslist nationally to try to find the right sucker. IMO if he had a 10k offer he'd jump on it. If it is pristine shape, there could well be a diehard fan ready to cough up the coin for it, but for the rest of us it isn't worth it.

Hmm, this does look like a 9" motor in this other Bradley factory EV, which is a big plus...

I looked at it and went for a ride in it, last fall (before the cold weather). Complete, running, batteries 1+ year old. Everything works. Original not restored. Presentable but not perfect. Nicks and chips here and there, paint not real good. Not the original controller. A typical kit car. Noisy, plastic feeling.

Kenneth F. LaBrecque was the original owner. He bought it from the Bradley Co. and it is a factory built car, not a kit built one. Ken had motor rebuilt or replaced around 2006. I emailed him a bit in nov. 2005 getting information about the car.

The current owner bought it from Ken or his estate. The car was filmed for an appearance on Hard Core Pawn. I don't know if it ever aired.
I agree, the sales pitch is different. originally said would sell to the highest offer by Jan 1. Now March 1. I did put in an offer of $3000. figured what the heck.

It is what the add states. If you are into Bradley GT's or kit cars, this would be the one to get. I have no idea the value because it is a factory built car.
