Hi everyone,
I'm building a self-balancing vehicle, and would very much like to give it a try on a brushless route, using RC motor, if possible.
Yes, I'm aware it's not easy to do. I don't know much about brushless control, but after some research these are the questions I've come up with:
1) could controller like http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__28223__HobbyKing_90A_Boat_ESC_4A_SBEC.html be used for that purpose? As far as I can see, they do support "hard reverse". It's sensorless though.
2) http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=23350&start=250 also looks promising, but as far as I see, it hasn't been completed... Does anyone know for a similar, more complete project?
3) any other suggestion? (besides Roboteq and Kelly, they might do the job, but are way too expensive)
