Building an Imitation Boosted Board

I like the Boosted Dual Drive board, but $1500 is just too much.

By building myself a dual drive setup with 20% inclines, 20MPH Speeds and 5MI+ range on a LifePo4, how much can I save?

Ideally, I can everything but assemble the motor mounts in which case I'd use an enertion kit.

I'll also build by own controller, I have the ability.

You would get close to it perhaps about $1000 give or take a few more hundred. Your board would be faster though.
