I've been testing my 5000mA 3xcell batteries on my bike, connected in 3x series to make 36V. I've been charging them and balance charging them to see how they charge, using an IMAX B8+ charger, and they have been good.
Today I received a Reaktor 1000W balance charger, and now I'm looking into how to parallel 3x 36v strings of batteries together, making 27 cells.
Is it possible to only wire the power connectors up at the 0V and 36V ends, while connecting the balance leads up to keep them equal? I understand that they should be pretty equal before connecting, so not too much current is on the balance leads. I was thinking about protective fuses, to protect the balance leads from over current, is this ok.
