Swbluto = Your name is BLUE that means that you are one of the smart people. Think you might be thinking too much. STOP looking at medical problems on the internet. Try thinking about something else. How about sex? Do you have a partner/wife? If no? Get a friend of the opposite sex. Or same sex if you into that? Might want to hold off on reproducing.

Sorry no dog for you. Only the GREEN people can have dogs. Wondering what color the stupid people should be? I don't have a smart phone. Flip phone works for me.

Lol, marty, you're being way too kind. Please tell me how you really feel, next time?

I won't go onto length defense as to why I'm actually really smart, because that's kind of pointless, as it's an intrinsically subjective construct that I see no personal gain to be had from defending against. My customers love me, and they give me lots of money for it. Anything beyond that fact is a distraction to me. (In fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if a few of my customers wants to marry me. ;D I had more than a few suitors back in nuke school.)

Anyway, it culminated, and made itself so obvious. It didn't hold any punches this time, which was great, because it illuminated what's /really/ been going on.

Feeling some massive chest discomfort and feeling down and sick (Arguably weak), these are the questions nurses asked me that if answered 'yes', would've gave them grave concern. And, in turn, me too. I thought, "That couldn't have been an MI this morning, right? I passed the exercise stress test with flying colors!!! Did the test lie to me?! lol.", anyway started walking around and started swinging my arms, and then came forth the largest belch I've ever mustered, and relief soon followed. The sickness went away and the discomforting chest feeling disappeared. Oh, diggety dog, this is exactly what I've seen online. People going to the emergency room for 'heart attack' symptoms, turns out they have Acid Reflux. I then ate a bunch of spinach, and the relief soon followed.

Yes, I see what I need to do now. Eat lots of vegetables, not just your two servings of spinach at lunch and supper, lol.

People say "hold off on the chocolate", but you see. I have a secret. All these chocolate bars use sugar or HCFS, which is known to aggravate acid reflux. Chocolate itself doesn't actually have a lot of caffeine as these people claim, especially not in your average milk chocolate bars. They do, however, have a bunch of theobromine. Anyway, the secret is: I use molasses for my sweetener, which is a great reflux destroyer, akin to Pepto-Bismol. So, my chocolate-molasses drink solves any acid reflux going on, bringing chest comfort if there happens to be any existing discomfort. (Which it has on several occasions, usually the morning I'm now noticing, which I previously (probably inaccurately) attributed to 'making my heart better' through vasodilation.)

Okay, so now my attention is appropriately focused and my otherwise terminal worries are largely gone. The neck causing burning chin sensations, however... So didn't need that neck strain from the cervical decompression device, lol. And, I would still fairly attribute the neck to a few cervicogenic episodes, which may or may not have cardiac involvement on a few occasions. And some episodes I would probably now attribute to the neck, though they did seem to act a lot like what I would expect angina to act like. Then again, not entirely like a 'normal episode' (Was missing the characteristic sweating, cold and clammy skin, shortness of breath and nausea.) , but closely.

Anyway, my bending my neck forward/down still reduces my heart output until corrected (Kinked back into place). I can tell because I get easily winded, I get that 'anxiety feeling' (Not enough blood flow to the brain), and I feel a little dizzy. At night, when my body is tuning down, it's more dramatic, feeling like a tired old man that can barely maintain consciousness. I'm actually wondering if it's really reducing my heart output, or if it's reducing the vetebral artery blood flow? Exercise intolerance (easily winded with little effort) suggests heart output. This fact is why I suspect I was having genuine heart attack symptoms when looking down one time, after missing a day of sleep. And, I /might/ be having MI symptoms at night, when my neck is clearly bugged. Probably not, since the pain follows established 'normal' pain patterns (And a lack of other cardiac symptoms), but maybe. And, I've already found that the burning pain on the left side of my face disappeared after finding acid reflux was probably solely responsible for various episodes of chest discomfort, suggesting that 'burning pain' is purely anxiety related. Anxiety related = burning pain on the surface/skin. But, it's obviously can be associated with nerve trauma, so there's that.

This is good timing. I just got started on my last massive order, and it should be out in 2 days. I can reopen my huge network of ecommerce sites and end this 20 day medical hiatus. I really wanted to reopen on the 15th, but the seemingly gravely serious medical mysteries hadn't been fully solved yet, and returning back to work which clearly aggravates my neck seemed ill-advised (And my neck was definitely at its worst around then, having recently used the decompression device.).

One thing I've noticed is that my VO2 max has usually been around 6.6L over the last few weeks, which is absolutely great. When I was in the midst of all that busy business, my VO2 max was normally between 5.6L-5.9L which is average to barely above average. I've seen articles suggesting that 'work' contributes to heart attacks, as apparently that's one thing that significantly went down with the Great Recession along with car crashes, teen pregnancies and young adult employment (I highly suspect the latter two have a causal relationship). And, with those two sets of numbers, I can kind of see why. Maybe I'd be healthier if I stopped working? lol. But, then again, if I became desperately poor from a lack of income, it's not hard to imagine I'd probably be worse off health wise, lol. I guess the secret is to somehow possess wealth and 'not really work', throw it off on someone else, etc. Kind of like more than a few managers and administrators...

Okay, I think I'll focus more on minimizing work stress while keeping the spigot flowing. That means simplifying, streamlining and maximizing the deployment of available resources as much as possible. And, being unafraid of essentially rejecting unsavory clients. (I.e., if a demanding customer is asking for an extraordinary amount of work at slave wages, quote them a higher than normal price.)

He was right! July 8, 2009, was the best first 'minor major' dip to put all your money in the stock market. That guy had some profound insight, but it doesn't seem he realized how to best play that. I guess if he were selling off his assets(Bike) to plunge it all in the stock market, he made a solid move.

Wow, never even knew that.

http://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/propane-huffing-reid-welch-found-guilty-of-stalking-miami-commissioner-marc-snaroff-6565525

"I inhale propane gas to get high, but I am not the least bit nutty," Reid Welch once told New Times.

Today a jury found differently. Welch has a had a number bizarre run-ins with the high-profile City of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff. The court found him guilty of 21 separate charges, including one felony charge of stalking.

The incidents started when Welch claims he was beaten by City of Miami police for using crack cocaine. In 2010, he asked Sarnoff, a practicing lawyer, to represent him in a suit against the department, but Sarnoff declined, citing a conflict of internet.

Over a year-and-half Welch then went on to send Sarnoff 700 emails, made hundreds of phone calls, hung around Sarnoff's Coconut Grove house, and often filmed and posted his encounters with Sarnoff and his wife online. When Sarnoff was running for reelection in 2011, Welch made it a personal vendetta to tear down campaign signs that he felt were illegally placed.
Then just a few days before the election, Sarnoff and Welch got into a physical tussle during which Welch spray painted Sarnoff.

That resulted in a court injunction that dictated Welch must stay away from and stop all contact with Sarnoff. Welch was arrested for breaking that injunction in 2012 after sending the commish an electronic message.

According to CBS Miami, a jury today found Welch guilty one count of aggravated stalking, a felony charge, and 10 counts of violating an injunction ordering him to stay away from the commissioner and 10 counts of making threatening phone calls. He could face up to 11 years in prison.

Dang, that's almost 4 years after his last post here. He went on posting elsewhere, apparently. Lost interest in us. But the HUFFington Post even mentions him.

Ah well, now that several of you have made this thread a big competition of who can be the craziest badass and I can't sleep anyway. . . .

The stuff they're saying about Rasputin isn't true, though, gross exaggeration. Kind of like all the symptoms we've been reading about.

The symptoms themselves weren't exaggerated, but their suggested seriousness might've been a bit, lol.

Anyway, I'm ignoring all of that for now, and I won't dwell on it. Focus on the future! If something happens, deal with it then.

All I really know now is that I have these perpetual rings under my eyes and resting on my pillow on my back only makes me feel like I can never fall asleep due to whatever's happening at the base of my neck. I have to sleep without my pillow if I want to get any rest, now.

Anyway, the prosaic stuff, hired a surveyor. The title insurance company the seller decided to use requires a survey of the land. Why the title insurance company really needs a survey, I do not know, it's not like they 'own it' like a lender would and it would seem a survey would only strictly benefit me in the end. However, I do believe the seller opted for escrow (Why?!! lol, escrow fees are outrageous and why would the seller opt for it?! Escrow only really protects the buyer, It makes no sense to me, lol.), so I guess they do 'own it' for some tiny period of time. It's not like they ever risk their own money to 'own it', so I'm not sure why exactly they need a survey. My guess is that it's "to protect me, the buyer", but I should have that choice whether I want their 'protection', right? Seller-provided title insurance is a joke, my realtor tried to tell me it was a 'good thing', but the only thing I can see is that it strips me of choices. (Granted, it did alleviate the need for me to find a suitable title company, and that might've been a difficult task. I've never done that before.)

Anyway, it's interesting that the assessed value of this land went from $1900 in 2015 to $4000 in 2016. Has there been some kind of explosion in real estate prices in Houston? lol. I guess it seems probable, I just had this impression that the (west, east) coasts experienced the greatest upswing during up markets, not places like Houston but I could be wrong. Then again, maybe the county wants more money, lol.

If the demand for land in this particular county has exploded, perhaps I should be developing the land as if expecting neighbors in the next few years... Then again, all the nearby parcels are owned by Texans, and it seems as a rule, they never really sell their parcels with the same frequency as out-of-staters. My guess is that texans wealthy enough to own land are never really under much financial pressure to sell it considering how shallow recessions in Texas tend to be and how well-positioned these guys are economically. The coasts, generally, seem to experience the weakest recoveries and the most severe recessions, while also experiencing greater swings in their real estate markets during the boom-bust cycles. So, generally, seems like a bad place to be employed as an 'average joe', but a great place to be a real estate investor / banker. Of course, 'high demand joe' should have tend to have less problems anywhere, and would likely make the most in wherever the most profitable concentrations of their particular industry is located, geographically. My particular industry is national, so I could operate pretty much anywhere (Even hawaii! If only I could afford land in Honolulu, lol. Is there any other islands with sandy beaches?), and I make more money wherever my operating costs are the lowest, though operating costs aren't really the most significant factor in overall profitability. Demand & my advertising-outreach is really the greatest determinant of my profitability.

Considering my sales/inquiries over the last 4 hours, I wonder if the markets have cooled? I'll give it a few days. Some days just happen to be slow days, seems random. Last month was JUST NUTS! lol.

Gosh darn it! This whole "don't look down" thing still applies. Apparently this principle didn't really 'heal up' over the last week and half since the cervical decompression device neck strain. I have about 3 hours at the beginning of the day to look around as I need to, but if I look down too much, or carry heavy things, my neck becomes more 'mobile' and then it starts to slop around on my chest, and it starts hitting nerves causing mayhem, lol, so then I have to play a 'balancing game' with my neck for the rest of the day to keep it centered on my chest so my head 'doesn't fall off'! lol

This is ridiculous. I swore this would've healed up by now, but I was trying to find my keys so I was looked down a lot, and then it felt like my chest was caving in forward or some such so I took the therapy position, and then /eventually/ noticed that my head was back into the 'balancing game' mode. It took a while to notice it, and it was freaking me out why it felt like my neck was choking me for a little bit, here and there. So, I'm playing this game until I get to bed and when I wake up, I will remember to NOT LOOK DOWN! lol. If it didn't heal up in 1.5 weeks, I have a feeling it won't in 2, so I think it'd be best to avoid lifting heavy objects and looking down for the next 3 months. If it still hasn't largely gone away by then, I might consider more serious options. (Surgery? Wearing a neck brace all day? lol. Maybe I should be doing that neck brace idea sooner rather than later.)

Holy moly. I was taking a short 1 hour nap and upon standing, a 'sensation' started from my upper breast area and quickly (with a second) radiated down my left hand into the thumb, index, middle and fourth finger. When I was standing, it felt like it was getting hard to breath, but when I laid back down fishing for aspirin from my pocket, I didn't really notice a shortage of breath while fishing for it (Would've noticed; I was fishing for like 15-20 seconds). It didn't really feel painful, whatever it was, but this sensation was definitely noticeable - might've been 'numbness' or 'dull pain' had I cared to take the time to find out. I only noticed that the base of my neck between C8-T1 felt really sore before going to take a short nap. Whatever it was, apparently the two 81 mg aspirin took care of it, as the sensation stopped relatively quickly and I was a bit shaken. I debated calling 911, but I've realized they can't capture anything if it's not actively occuring, and if I stopped it relatively early (and it's something really serious), than the 'damage indicators' aren't likely to show anything. And, my problem is, if I can stop it relatively early - I'm going to. What I really feel like I could use is a catheterization or angiogram.

But, it is puzzling, that my neck was sore from what's happened today(C8-T1 root highly inflamed, I noticed.) and it seems there'd be an obvious connection between that irritated nerve root and this particular event; On the otherhand, I hadn't taken any aspirin for two days (Blood thinners), so if some kind of 'inevitable' cardiovascular event were to occur, it probably would've occurred somewhere around now or soon.

Seems the radiation pattern loosely corresponds to carpal tunnel. Seems like C6 and C7 correspond to these four fingers.

And it looks like the nerve path follows this particular pattern.

CTS-Crh.jpg

It looks like C6 and C7 have mappings to the front and back of the chest, as well. So, these mappings seem to closely correspond to this experience, as far as the path the sensation traveled.

And, I do notice my left thumb and middle finger randomly going numb for a couple of seconds at a time throughout the day.

So it seems exceedingly possible this is really CTS, being triggered at the neck.

It doesn't seem like I have the symptoms of full-blown CTS (No problems in my typing hand), otherwise, so it would almost seem to be purely a neck phenomena in my case (Rather than a wrist phenomena in most sufferers.).

It's interesting the first episode radiated into the first two fingers, and this time it radiated into the first four. The first time /seemed/ to be triggered by a social stressor, but it's /possible/ it might've been triggered by the neck through a particular neck position taken when experiencing the thought. This time seemed to be immediately triggered by standing (It was triggered immediately as I began to stand and rapidly progressed within a second or so), suggesting a pinched nerve. The first time crescendoed within a period of 10 seconds, while this escalated within 2 seconds. While I suppose angina could act when one 'exerts effort' by standing, it doesn't seem like that's the kind of exertion that's being described by articles. It seems like physical exercise is what they're normally referring to, and physical exercise never seems to trigger anything in my case. And, the highly irritated nerve at C8-T1(I'm guessing) and sore neck (Brought upon by earlier head movements throughout the day from looking down too much) had been noticed immediately before this episode, and standing undoubtedly involved neck movement of some sort, so a pinched nerve doesn't seem exceedingly unlikely.

So, (also since I'm feeling fine ATM), I'm not entirely concerned at the moment. But, if it gets worse, I know who to call. But, for now, I feel like I need sleep. I woke up feeling pretty darn sleep-deprived this morning.

UPDATE: I stood up again at 3:30 a.m. and standing immediately triggered another episode. A constant bright burning sensation appeared to be happening extending from the left of my chin to the entire left side of my upper body down to the upper rib and extending to first four fingers. Though I was shaken by this event, I was not short of breath/clammy/etc. and it appeared 'taking the therapy position'(straightening the upper body / neck) stopped the sensation. It would appear there's likely compression of the nerve endings in the left side of the neck when this happens, and it appears laying flat on my back in bed seems to 'set me up' to compress just the right nerves upon standing, when the neck is already irritated prior in the day. Episodes like these were largely avoided for the last 4-5 days, so it took me by surprise when it hit. I guess 'looking down'/'extending forward' is something I should avoid throughout the day.

I'm starting to think that the 'click/crink' phenomena applies only when my back is hardened; otherwise, if it's loose and flexible, the neck/upper-back doesn't really 'click' into place, it just starts gradually feeling sore and stays sore. It seems like I didn't really have a 'limit' to my day when my back was hardened, unlike now - seems like I have 2-4 hours to do whatever, then things start feeling sore/awful from my ears to my waist. I'm starting to think that an 'inflexible back' is exactly what I'm looking for, and I suspect the main benefit is in stabilizing the upperback and its connection to the neck. Just the upperback spasms while sleeping on my back were kind of annoying, but I'm starting to think that's not really a bad tradeoff, lol. Considering that the day for before yesterday, the four days prior when my back was completely solid/infexible (Before I completely flexed it/broke it apart), I didn't have these 'burning skin'/'numbed skin' pinched nerve phenomena, 'head is falling off'/'running into my cervical/thoracic nerves'/ experiences, and limits to my working day like I appear to do now. I highly suspect that's why riding my mountain bike at high speeds triggered the first of these 'pinched nerve' phenomena episodes - it broke apart my inflexible, stabilized back which allowed nerve pinching, which mimicked angina to a seemingly surprisingly high degree. So much so, apparently it fooled my doctor!

Anyway, now that my upper-body/neck is apparently veering to the right side (My right ear is sore), I've been noticing my right hand has been buzzing more than my left, probably because it's pressing against the right side of the brachial plexus (ennervates the hands. Commonly injured in motorcycle/ATV accidents, I've read.).

Just need to remind myself; solid back = stabilized upperback = no cervico-angina pinched nerves, lol. I never really understood the connection, just that it seemed like a solid back was 'good' for some reason (Didn't seem to trigger nocturnal panic attacks), but now I'm starting to seeing the connections.

I think I'm now going to alternate between using my computer the 'traditional way' (sitting in my chair reaching my hands forward to type) and the 'therapy position' when things start acting up. (Ear gets sore, neck gets blazing hot, numb/burning sensation radiates down my arm, etc.) I'm hoping that using the computer should encourage the kyphotic position while the back is healing (Should lessen the forward angle of the neck to look forward; a higher forward angle seems to equate to pinched nerves), which should hopefully lessen the incidence of pinched nerves in the future. If I were to suspect why it's like this, I'd suspect the forward position from longterm computer use has contributed to the shaping/degeneration of the discs such that loosening the vertebra will expose those 'gaps' and result in pinched nerves. So, letting the back resolidfy(become inflexible) into the posture the discs have 'shaped into' so that it can maintain a non-pinching angle throughout the day should help minimize these episodes, so I suspect. Seems like this is what I've seen from other people with kyphosis, though they don't necessarily seem to understand the biomechanics. (I'm not even sure if I really /really/ know, but I suspect I'm close to the mark.)

Correcting the 'kyphosis' doesn't appear to be realistic expectation, unless people have some solid idea of how to restore the original shape of the discs.

Anyway, assuming I get these principles 'under control', I'll probably be able to do what I need to the property, though I'll probably will be going at a slower pace than what I had originally imagined. (A frenzied Berserker viking pace, lol.)

Anyway, back to the property, it kind of seems like things are coming along with this 'alternation' technique. Have a 'pace' going, lol.

I started thinking, "It'd be nice to have a local hill to hike up and down for exercise" but it looks like the surrounding roads/area is completely flat. Not having a hill on my land, I started thinking. Why don't I 'dig up' a hill? Dig 20 feet down, I have a twenty foot hill, lol. (Plus, if you shaped the dirt pile right next to it, it might actually be a little higher.) Of course, it would be a 'dirt hill' with little integrity, so I'd probably need to plant grass or something to get a root system going on so it makes the ground more stable. Anyway, it's an idea. Climbing 1000 feet / day is a good exercise goal to ensure daily fitness. It's a pretty cool principle, since it doesn't matter how slow you go, the fact you're 'raising' so many pounds 1000 feet / day ensures a bare minimum of energy output / exercise per day, which is no chump change. Using https://www.easycalculation.com/physics/classical-physics/potential-energy.php, and my weight (90kg), it appears that would be 75 calories, with 20% energy efficiency of the human body, that's 375 food calories burnt. And, the nice thing about climbing hills, it's low impact so I can keep doing it on a daily basis. Climbing stairs, I've found, is not 'low impact'. It seems to be the 'going down' part that creates a lot of impact.

Plus, I could use the dirt hill I create next to it as a place to mount my solar panels. Might dictate where I should dig the hole. Obviously, somewhere along the center line...

Anyway, hypothetical at this point. I'm not 'really sold' on the idea at the moment, lol. (Oh god, that's a lot of work. And, it might detract from my horticultural ambitions, lol. And, to be more straightforwardly, that might detract from the beauty of the landscape.)

Well, let's think about this just a tiny bit more. What if I were to dig to make a wine cellar, say, 15 feet deep, and instead of installing stairs, I had some kind of ramp? That probably wouldn't take up as much space, would serve a practical function, and might actually be doable in a semi-reasonable timespan, plus would give the ability to climb up and down something for exercise. Plus, it could be useful as a tornado shelter, which I planned on implementing anyway. (Though, the tornado shelter I was originally envisioning would be something far simpler. A tube just buried into the ground, with a sealed hatch on top with appropriate vents. Nothing particularly fancy, just somewhere to sit and hang out for 30 minutes.)

Anyway, business is kind of back to normal. I don't see any immediate financial difficulties in pulling this off, at the moment, and that's important, lol.

Lol, I'm suspecting an iron deficiency. I was feeling incredibly fatigued today, despite a full night sleep, which I chalked up to "heart difficulties" since my neck was acting up yesterday and my heart was clearly bouncing around when I presumed the therapy position (Could feel it in the bottom left of my chest), but that just doesn't seem like a very reasonable proposition, statistically speaking. So I googled 'dark circles under eyes' and 'fatigue' and iron-deficiency came to the top of the list, and then I ate a TBSP of thyme, and the fatigue just gradually vanished within a period of 30 seconds and stayed away. The anxiety disappeared, as well as much of the burning sensations in the nerves in my neck, and I felt normal. This seems to correspond to how tomatos seemed to suddenly cure my fatigue during one of those parasthesia/pinched nerve episodes, probably because of their iron content.

OK, so iron deficiency causes parasthesia, increased sensation of pain, fatigue and anxiety.

So, I'm adding a healthy serving of tomatos, thyme and garlic to my dishes from now on (Specifically, half a can of tomato paste, 1 TBSP of thyme and 2 cloves of garlic per dish.). Hopefully, what I'm dealing with is ultimately an iron deficiency, and ideally nothing more.

Ok, farming techniques. Apparently mosquitos avoid garlic fields like the plague, so I'm thinking I'm going to have a bunch of garlic plants interspersed through the area, to create a 'mosquito free outdoor safe haven', lol. And, hopefully to ward off pests from my other plants.

I wonder if there's any coconut farms near the Houston area?

That garlic will keep the vampires away too, eh? Maybe even tax collectors. . . .

But if you're not sleeping why would you think about iron deficiency just because you're tired? You're way overanalyzing everything. But that's probably an understatement.

Your problem may well be solved by finding something to take your mind off it all.

"fatigued" but "not sleepy" (I already slept 8 hours, of course I'm not sleepy; simple trick to know if you're sleepy - do your eyes refuse to open when you close them? lol.). Maybe you've never experienced this particular combination, but that's probably because you've never had an iron deficiency before and lucky you!

Anyway, I could tell this wasn't 'sleepiness' because climbing the stairs felt like it took much more effort than normal, and my eyes wanted to open when I closed them. lol The fact the iron-rich thyme clearly made the fatigue go away (And it's staying away! OMG, OMG, OMG. You don't know how reassuring a iron-explanation is over a suspect-cardiac-explanation.) means I've found the culprit. And including thyme and tomatos in my meals should deter any future iron deficiency. (2 TBSP of thyme has 100% of one's iron daily allowance.)

I'm just including garlic because I saw an article at puretesterone forums that showed that Vitamin C and Garlic boosted ones nitric oxide production 300%. Nitric oxide is important for vasodilation, which is just plain important for general health. (And, in the case of those forums, erections, lol.)

Nitric oxide keeps the cancer away and it keeps the heart ticking. It's also what allows the Himalayans the ability to live so high, without ill affects.

Bro, haven't u been taking stimulants such as 'cocoa' to 'aid', etc? You know 'what goes up....." right? Coming down is a bitch, (from uppers AND downers, and hallucinogens), but that's were the real correction/strength/growth/benefit happens, imo.

Like I said in a previous post, besides seeking basic dietary balance you should find some stuff to take a break from, to sharpen your body/mind/spirit.

. . . Or not . . . we all die anyway right

Oh, man, you'll need to know a little bit about my diet. I'm essentially a grain-free vegetarian, though I'm not really, and that puts me at special risk for things like iron deficiency. So, the fact I caught it red-handed is absolutely great. Just had some tomato paste, water, garlic, salt with my rice and spinach and it tasted pretty good. Even better, I felt like I was ALIVE compared to this morning! lol. Rice alone obviously didn't have that affect yesterday night, when I suddenly became 'noticeably lethargic' about 5 hours afterwards which persisted into a severe fatigue today that thyme ended up correcting. Hopefully I can get rid of these increasingly dark circles under my eyes and keep the anxiety away!

And, stepping back from my business to do medical research and visiting all the hospitals WAS A BREAK to me! I've never seen my spirometer numbers so consistently high before.

I think what I'm dealing with is an iron deficiency->(anxiety,fatigue,palpitations), pinched nerves and the occasional acid reflux. Sure, it might be exponentially worse than that, but I would /highly/ doubt it if it was anyone else.

And, I can feel that tingling along my median nerve and its roots (left first four fingers, left side of neck/jaw/chin). That's making me nervous, lol. As harmless as I think those "pinched nerve" episodes are, they still really freak me out, lol.

Anyway, I've listed my car on craigslist for trade. I've not really been getting any 'real' offers, yet, so I'm thinking I'm going to start poaching some van owners, lol. I highly doubt most van owners would want my car (Not their style and/or they really are looking for cash), but I suspect there might be one or two that might.

I need to find out if I can text people from my computer, somehow. That'd be a lot easier for me.

As to cocoa. It's one of nature's great multi-vitamins. It's also consumed in abudance by the Kuna, and I admire the paradise island culture of the Kuna. The image I posted wasn't their most flattering images; they actually have about 50-90 inhabited islands, all of different sizes. Some are nicer than others. I'm sure that particular island probably happened to be closest to the mainland.

So, earlier today, I had some thyme, tomatos, etc. and I felt unusually calm. For some reason, I was feeling sleepy quite early at 11 p.m.; I attributed this to 'now that my iron levels are becoming more normal, the insomnia is going away'. So I went asleep and sure enough, woke again at 2 a.m.

Waking this early seems connected with pinched nerves (burning upper body episode yesterday, and radiating numbness into left arm earlier that day), so...

I flipped over into the therapy position and noticed that T1,T2,T3 and the entire line up felt really irritated. After staying in that position for like 5 minutes, I stood up and immediately noticed chest pressure/pain and my left first four fingers were strongly numb. Complicating matters is the fact my upper middle rib is sore, which is known to give rise to these kinds of sensations.

Is this really a nerve/spinal/rib/pinched-nerve phenomena going on?

It seems pretty convincing like it's something serious with all the sensations in combination at first blush, but sure enough, things in just the right places feel sore to touch. My rational side is saying that the irritated vertebra signify nerve compression, like the ones connecting to my median nerve and radiating along the connecting rib; but the "Holy cow it's 2:00 a.m. and I never go to bed at 11 and gosh, this just doesn't feel right" is like, uh oh, problem. (And, really, being the worst case thinker that 2:00 a.m. tends to inspire (Because it's like the worst possible time to have problems; calling 911 means skipping a night of sleep.), everything is ultimately radiating from the heart, to the vertebras->median-nerve->front-upper-rib.)

I went back into the therapy position, and the numb sensation in the fingers abated. I then ate something, because I thought I was maybe hypoglycemic; known to induce sleepiness.

Update: Went back to bed, and it seems the numb sensation was traveling down my thumb. Oddly, it felt like I was intermittently becoming partially short of breath when breathing in. I moved my body somewhat down the bed to change the curvature of my back, and I felt a sense of relief (stretch) in my midback, my neck was obviously changing position (Could feel the vertebra taking on new positions with the individual pricks of pain when they shifted.), and the shortness of breath sensation stopped. It was a little harder to fall asleep in this position, but I wasn't budging.

I want to believe that it's 'just anxiety' (Since I was obviously anxious over the recent abundance of orders that looked like I would have difficulty fulfilling; I've changed my inventory to reduce these incidences.), like in threads like these http://www.healthboards.com/boards/anxiety/366606-why-cant-i-take-deep-breath.html , but the fact there's a numb sensation traveling down my bicep into my left thumb /at the same time/ has me a little bit more concerned, lol. I'm suspecting it's just 'pinched nerves' (Especially c5/c6 nerve root, corresponds to thumb), but there's of course that significantly more unlikely but oh so visible possibility just dangling, tends to make it harder to sleep, lol.

So what is "essentially a grain-free vegetarian, though not really" ??

What does that even mean? Oh well, if you choose to gravitate more towards plants than meat, you should know plenty about dietary balance already. I don't think I need say more, other than spinnach and more whole tomato is good on quite a lot. And grains aren't 'bad', humans have been eating bread for thousands of years.

Coca, cacoa, cocoa, and coffee have alot in common you know, and they all have health benefits, but an obvious side effect would be things physiological and nervous system related like you have been mentioning. I would eliminate/ cutback rather than intensify use.
_____________
Hey, try some gmo free corn chips dipped into spinnach and hummus nachos of this style! Yummy.
100_1783.JPG

Heavy bed of spinnach, then crushed tomatoes, then 'drops' of hummus of whatever flavor, and a little shredded cheese on top. Add basil, garlic, etc as desired and mike on low till cheese melts. Scoop with chips.

Or and here's a 'modified' wendy's 1$ burger. Whole wheat or dark pump spread with hummus, a heavy layer of vidalia onion and spinnach, topped with the wendy's jr deluxe burger, minus the bottom bun. :D

What does that even mean?

It means he gets all the benefits that come from talking about it, but of course not really.

If you're allergic to wheat, allergic to gluten, there's a reason to stay away from it. If you're not allergic, you're taking up a strict dietary guideline that won't mean much, if anything.

So you can go to In n Out burger here in California and get no bun. Still got the hamburger and cheese and other things. How good is THAT?

No, back in Nuke school, the guys told me I was like a vegetarian because I never ate the meat they offered. The fact of the matter is, I'm not a 'classic vegetarian' that's concerned about the emotional welfare of the animals, I just have a ranking of which meats are better than others, and most of the meat offered at nuke school tended towards the bottom of the list (Things like bacon, hamburgers, sausage; rarely unfried/unbreaded chicken, turkey or fish.), so it appeared I never ate meat. By 'Grain-free', that really means I just largely eliminate things like processed grains and anything with wheat or oat. I seem to regularly get a sickly cramping when I eat those grains, unlike everything else I eat, so I avoid them. And, my brother has celiac's disease (wheat gives him unending diarrhea).

Okay, 'hurts to breath' = pneumonia. If I had walking pnemonia though, would this only manifest during an episode? Doesn't seem like it would. (i.e.,at night; the last time I had shortness of breath laying down, it seemed like rubbing my left rib which was sore stopped the sensation. I suspect, perhaps, that 'unpinched' the sympathetic nerves somewhere in the T1-T3 area which was causing shortness of breath /somehow/. Immediately prior to this episode, my neck obviously hurt, T1-T3 was obviously very irritated, and there was various tiny shooting nerve pains on the left side of my body, and in the left forearm. Seems like this is commonly traced back to neck issues in other threads. I'm right now playing the 'balance my head' game or my chest will start to hurt and I'll start to feel very sick. Seems like that only took 1-2 hours of movement to trigger, reaching around my equipment and such and typing on the computer)?

This neck better heal up in 2 months or so or the plans I had for this property doesn't look very viable! (Maybe it was destined; it's the universe's way of saying, "you're not moving to texas and you're not getting your fruit/vegetable crops".)

I'm going to buy it anyway, and I'll probably just have to make some sacrifices. (Such as the loggers removing the entire property. Of course, if I paid them more to /not/ remove certain parts of the property, I'm sure I could make that work out somehow.)

This place calls them "muscle trigger points", but I'm not really sure if that's really the case or if it's actually nerve pinching/compressed nerves.

https://www.painscience.com/articles/diagnosing-shortness-of-breath.php

What can you do about trigger points that might be interfering with respiration?Muscle trigger points are unpredictable and a bit mysterious. Exactly what they are and how to treat them is controversial. Sometimes they melt as easily as ice cream in the sun. The first thing to try is just a little simple self-massage. Or a warm bath. Or a holiday. The problem could be solved by a self-treatment as simple as digging with your thumbs into some aching muscles between your ribs.

Well, that explains it almost immediately. That technique, "digging with your thumbs into some aching muscles between your ribs", is almost exactly what worked last time this exact same thing happened, though it didn't have a numbness sensation extending down via the bicep to the left thumb last time. (Btw, pushing ribs has a direct affect on the spine. It seems like I'm pushing my chest out from underneath my neck, now (judging from the obvious disconnection and pressure sensation at the base of my neck), lol. I don't remember that ever happening before, or at least not that dramatically/noticeably!)

I wonder if that's really true? Mosquitos avoid garlic fields? I've seen only one 'authorative source' state this, and they were trying to sell garlic based mosquito repellent, and I can't see to find any other confirming information on this (Other than suspect reviews). Would be nice to know? Because if this area is as mosquito infested as I suspect it is, I would certainly be interested in a natural means of repelling them, and planting garlic here and there sounds like an elegant solution. (Especially useful since I regularly consume garlic.)

I posted this question in a garlic forum, and hopefully I get an answer soon! I'll update this if I get new info.

If this is the case, I'll make sure to have the 'shooting area'(Place for the prone position) surrounded by ample garlic, lol.

EDIT: I started to realize, if what I'm dealing is essentially carpal tunnel (Though, really, I highly suspect right-side compression of the c5-c7 nerve roots, especially since that side feels irritated and pushing on that part of the neck illicits sensation in the left three-four fingers.), I probably should be typing less. That means, I shouldn't be typing as much here, anymore, lol. I just remembered, the only place where I typed was with my customers, and typically that didn't involve paragraphs. So, I'm going to lay off here. I'll use dragons naturally speaking for any further posts.

Oh, lord. So, I was saying "This stiffness in the back of my neck is only anxiety", so I told myself it was only anxiety, and I took some 4 TBSP of kava to see. The pain largely seemed to go away, though I felt some minor stiffness. I also noticed repeated sharp pains in my left shoulder shortly after taking it. One thing I noticed is that I felt pretty disoriented, like it took time for the room to catch upto my eyeballs. Anyway, apparently I got rid of the stiffness in my neck by simply throwing my head around without care (Because, not giving a care is what kava does), and then suddenly while using the computer, I felt a quickly crescendoing burning sensation in my chest along with increasing pressure in my head and then I thought to look up, and it started going away. Oh dogs, you're telling me that stiffness in my neck was supposed to protect me from accidentally pinching my nerves and causing episodes like that? Lol, I don't really know if that's the case, it might've been a semi-panic-attack of some sort, but that's not supposed to happen when taking kava, lol. And, looking down has definitely triggered 'episodes' in the past, like, before 'looking down' actually became an anxiety (Which is precisely why it became one, lol. It seemed so bizarre.). I still felt pretty calm in a "What was that?" kind of way afterwards, so the anti-anxiety affect of the kava is still there, lol.

Ok, so I'm not exactly sure if this stiff neck I had was really just anxiety. It kind of doesn't seem like it, I definitely still feel recurrent sharp neck pain where the stiffness was, even under the influence of this kava. I think the stifness might've been where the vertebra had bonded together, and it appears I might've loosened that bond through excessively looking down and all around under the influence of kava, and something started getting compressed that wasn't supposed to.

I don't honestly know if it was 'serious', whatever it was, but man.... I'm not entirely sure I confirmed the neck stiffness was /just/ anxiety as I was originally expecting (I was hoping, anyway). It seems like I'm concluding the opposite.

Then again, I was previously reading online that kava was associated with an increased risk of ischemia, at the time, so it's very possible I was panicking and the kava didn't do a great job in preventing it from happening, lol. Even though, I personally didn't think the increase meant anything immediately meaningful in my case since I'm just pinching cervical nerves, possibly via tightened muscles via anxiety. My neck muscles definitely don't feel tight now (loosey goosey). No soreness in left/right neck/shoulder. There's some neck pain at the base if I lean back, which existed before the kava, but no noticeable neck stiffness. It seems I'm able to increase neck stiffness by moving my head around. And, that in turn seems to increase right shoulder/neck muscle pain. Holding the shoulders up via tense upper back muscles might also cause irritation, lol.(Just noticed the phenomena)

Seems to imply if I keep my neck stationary in the up position for at least 10 minutes, the sensation of stiffness and neck/shoulder pain should go away, without the kava.

If that's the case, then it appears rotating my neck is definitely irritating something, which causes the increased sensation of stiffness.

Cool, some sources that it will take upto 6 weeks to heal the neck from trauma. That should be before I leave, hopefully. It'd be nice to have a fully functioning spine if I plan on taking on the job with hand tools.

Edit: relaxing the upper shoulders, it appears the right shoulder/neck muscles are getting irritated. Will walk around for 10 minutes with relaxed shoulders and see if that changes. Edit: Seems like it lessened quite a bit. Sitting seems to be contributing to the right shoulder muscle irritation.

Now that the kava has worn off, it appears the room is no longer 'catching upto my eyeballs'. I'm not sure, but it almost seems like this stuff makes you 'drunk'?

Uh oh, due to careless head positioning under the influence of kava, it appears there's no noticeable stiffness at the base of my neck (But there is definitely irritation) during rotation. I'm not sure if this is really a 'bad thing', but it seems to be associated with burning neck sensations linked to various intense burning phenomena in the chest/neck/arm when sleeping at night. And, it seems the 'don't look down' rule is definitely in force during the later hours, seems like it tends to be more consequential. This 'flexible neck' feels a bit weird. Rotating it around doesn't seem immediately consequential.

Update: Got really sleepy at 11:50 p.m. just like yesterday night (Abnormally early for me, though exactly what I prefer.), except, I loaded up on honey(&PB) before falling asleep. I used the honey to gauge how much my body wanted sugar, and it felt like it wanted quite a bit of it, lol (About 4 TBPS, 64G of sugar). Anyway, in the 'lower' position, sleeping was largely uneventful. AMAZING! Oh god, that's AMAZING! Uneventful sleep is absolutely AMAZING! So, I'm starting to think that getting enough iron and making sure blood sugar levels are high enough before bed is important. Since I think I'm trying to make up for an existing iron deficiency, I'm consuming 3 TBSP of thyme a day. (1 TBSP supplment, and 1 TBSP with lunch and dinner.)

Edit: Maybe my sleep wasn't as good as I thought. I noticed I was becoming abnormally lightheaded when laughing, which then got me worried, and then it appears I started having a panic attack shortly after I drank some cocoa. The thought, "People usually panic right before they die", certainly wasn't helping out, lol. And, the tingling in my left first four fingers certainly wasn't helping. And, I noticed those particular fingers getting cold after a while, interesting(I wonder if anxiety can do that? It doesn't seem immediately intuitive how reduced left arm bloodflow would affect just those four fingers.). I just had to run. I'm not sure what's going on, and if it's really 'just panic', but my sleep probably wasn't as good as I thought. ;/ (Not good sleep = lightheaded; panic prone.)

One great thing about this property is that there should be ample space to run. So, if I get there (Assuming this is all just simply panic attacks without a super-significant physiological basis), I should have plenty of opportunity to do just that if I ever feel compelled. And, jogging on a regular basis might not be a bad idea, if it can ultimately stave off events like these through whatever pathways (neurological, cervical, vascular, etc.).

I'm willing to bet the threat to my income yesterday probably wasn't helping. Even though, at the time, I wasn't so concerned because at this point, "my ability to live without (significant threats to my living comfortably) is virtually secured", but in actuality, it isn't really as secure as I might like. So, there's that.

Edit: So I became tired and went to bed. I was napping and then suddenly an image flittered across my mind of this woman, she asked "Will you marry me?", suddenly I felt wide awake and had a really sharp sudden pain in my right ear and an increased tingling sensation in my left four fingers. I previously attributed this pain in my right ear to pinched nerves in the neck (Which I turned around to presume the therapy position), but the fact it peaked rather strongly at /that particular moment/ and it didn't seem I was able to replicate the pain by laying back in bed for some time, has me suspecting it might have another cause. I guess I could brush it off as stress/anxiety, just like everything else it seems, lol.

Today, 8/27, just doesn't feel right. Even though it seems like all the important things are working well, I feel like I have a constant tension kind of feeling that seems to prelude one of those chest burning / head pressure episodes. Maybe eating all that honey before bed might've not been wise? lol. (Granted, I didn't know I was going to fall asleep at 11:50 p.m., I thought it was going to be my seeming normal of 4:00 a.m.; I thought falling asleep at 11:50 p.m. the day before was highly unusual.)

On the other hand, it seems like I can look all around without consequence. But, on the otherhand, it is 9:50 a.m., it may very well change by 12 p.m./4p.m.; perhaps something in my now loose neck is behind this tension feeling? Perhaps it's anxiety, though anxiety in my case doesn't seem to usually manifest like this (Never has before). And, now there's an unusual cough. I guess I can attribute that to anxiety->Acid-reflux. Just need to stop the anxiety and this should go away, right? Perhaps I need to get better sleep, lol. (I'm feeling tired)

Took a nap (Now 12), and it seems like the tension feeling has gone away. Still a bit tired. Sleeping now seems to include etchy pains scrawling down my left arm into my thumb, and down the left side of my chest following the spinal cord into my abdomen. Is this what they meant by 'getting old'? lol

Edit: It seems that eating lunch (tomato, rice, garlic, salt) and tilting my head up has been keeping the anxiety/tiredness away. My eyes and the 'shivering'(? I don't know how to describe it best.) skin sensations indicates like they didn't get enough sleep, which seems bizarre considering how long I slept. Need to stop typing, lol.

EDIT: No wonder why it seems like my neck is so consequential. I started looking down and started probing my neck, and I don't know which vertebra is the highest you can feel, but the gap between that and the one above was burning hot when looking down. I'm not sure which pair that is, but possibly C4-C5? And, I personally can't feel any of the vertebra higher than that in the neck. It's very possible this might go upto C3-C4 or even C2-C3, where the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves exist. If that's the case, that's pretty bad news because you irritate those nerves, you're directly affecting the heart and lungs. Would explain a lot of what seems to be cardiovascular phenomena when looking down at times, and not just anxiety/panic-attacks like I've been blaming. I kind of wonder if that would explain my right pinky/ring-finger tingling at times? Never my left (Which is reassuring in a way, though the first four going numb and is associated with various chest pressure/pain phenomena isn't that reassuring; would seem to imply nerve pinching either between c5-T1, or (c1-c3)-c7. I'm just hoping not the latter, lol. But, given that the cervical decompression unit 'strained' the neck (c1-c7), it's definitely not implausible (c1-c3)-c7 has been affected, as much as I don't want that to be the case, lol. I promise not too worry myself to death about the possibility of sudden cardiac arrest, which is associated with neck injuries in the c1-c3 area, lol.), just my right.

At the least the x-rays confirmed I didn't break any neck bones. It didn't confirm, however, they weren't loosey goosey from overstretching the ligaments, and were liable to compress nerves when looking down/around/etc.

http://stroke.ahajournals.org/content/26/11/2194.long

Serious whiplash injuries are usually seen after rear-end car collisions. Trauma in which the victim’s head swings backward, followed by a forward flexion, more frequently causes injuries to the cervical spine than after frontal collision due to the relative weakness of the anterior longitudinal ligament.1 Frequently experienced symptoms include occipitonuchal pain due to local damage of ligaments and muscles2 ; severe headache, neck stiffness, and anxiety or irritability may subside for several months,3 or even become chronic.4 5 6 7

The last estimate was 6 weeks, and now it's several months?! Even CHRONIC?!!! Oh lord, why was there no warnings on that cervical decompression device?

Well, at least I can look on the bright side; it appears 1/3 of deaths in fatal whiplash episodes occur due to stroke, which is preluded by post-crash headaches. I have no headaches, so I guess I'm lucky that implies I didn't cause a lesion on the vertebral artery. At least not the type that would cause clots that would lead to stroke. And, apparently almost all whiplash deaths happen within 8 days after the crash. It's been 2 weeks for me, so I'm good, lol. And, it's obvious I don't /yet/ have permanent nerve damage, so 'chronic pain' isn't even on the radar. I should count my blessings. But, jesus, I so don't need tingling in both my right and left ring/fourth fingers when bending the neck forward, lol.

EDIT: I found I was able to elicit sensation in the first four fingers by pushing in on the thoracic spine. The higher up I pushed, the more notable the sensation. This also elicited sharp pain immediately afterwards somewhere at or above T1, I would assume. Since the bed, when I'm laying on my back, is effectively pushing my thoracic spine up similarly, it's fairly easy to understand how it elicits the sensations in the first four left fingers. I just don't immediately understand how it's accomplishing that since I don't have an MRI machine, but it's obviously associated with this sharp pain I immediately felt afterwards at the base of my neck, and where it seems like the epicenter of neck/shoulder pain is located. So, at the moment, this seems like the "first four fingers" episodes, that seem to predominantly happen immediately after getting up from bed at night (But, not if I've been still for 4+ hours), is probably fairly benign. Irritated nerves; the question is, how far up the neck the nerve irritation goes. If it goes upto C3 or higher, it could also cause heart/lung issues, and that could be less benign. I don't have definitive proof of heart involvement, and it seems the upper rib connected to T1 could potentially mimic some 'cardiac symptoms' in the upper chest (It seems hard to believe it's been fully responsible, but not entirely impossible to believe.). And, it's often found to be sore, at least after the pain episode disappears. (Then again, it's usually sore.)

[6:18 p.m., 8/27/2016]Weird. I read this thread, http://www.healthboards.com/boards/back-problems/880723-loose-clicking-grinding-neck.html, and it seems like the pain in the back of my neck disappeared and I'm able to look around without difficulty or noticeable 'clicking'. It feels like my neck is rotating smoothly for some reason, as if something 'clicked back into place'. I have doubts that actually happened, I'm going to guess that anxiety was giving much of these symptoms and reading her reassuring...

I had a MRI a while ago, the doc said there was nothing structurally wrong and that maybe it is a muscle spasm(s), and may resolve itself on its own.

Just calmed the 'neck anxieties' down. And, then, suddenly nothing was wrong with my neck, lol. It's weird how the clicking during neck rotation disappeared, however; I wouldn't immediately believe anxiety->muscle-tension could do that? But, maybe it can. Leaning the neck back is still kind of painful, but nothing I'm worried about. It's amazing how it glides so effortless. Looking down, though, definitely causes a weird pulling sensation in my neck and pressure in my head. Oh man, maybe I screwed it up, lol.

Update(7:20 p.m. 8/27/2016): The clicking/loose sensation has definitely disappeared and it appears to be gliding really smoothly now. The base of the back of the neck still has recurrent sharp pain, as well as the top, and it seems to be especially triggered by looking down. But, anyway, this feeling that my neck is now mating well with my chest is a pretty good feeling. Sans the sharp pain and looking down phenomena, and this general feeling of unease here and there, I almost feel back to normal.

Anyway, just want to mention that tomato-based dishes definitely seem to pare well with red wine. Or, maybe it's the garlic+tomato. It definitely went well with my white rice+tomato-paste+water+garlic+salt. I'm finding slicing the garlic up to be preferable to crushing it, because when you're mouth crushes the slices, that sudden burst of fresh garlic flavor just tastes so good contrasting against the tomato. I also don't have to clean the garlic crusher, which is not as easy to clean! lol

I'm finding the way to avoid crescendoing neck/upper-back pain is to avoid leaning back in my chair, lol. Also keeps the first four fingers from tingling.

I'm back: Okay, not really sure if anything really changed other than my level of 'neck' anxiety, lol. Went on a walk and now the right side of my neck is completely sore, lol. Leaning back also causes a click. At least it doesn't feel tight like it used to, just sore.

And, as to garlic's mosquito repellent affect:

For what its worth, I had a very large garlic planting this year, two adjacent 100' X 24" rows - about 900 plants. While weeding, I was being absolutely swarmed by mosquitoes, to the point where I couldn't work without using mosquito repellent. Processed garlic might work in a preparation, but IMO, the plants themselves have no repellent effect whatsoever.

So it appears to have been a corporate lie, surprise, surprise, lol.
