wow, went to bed at 11:30, got up at 5:30.

Instead of 3 or 3:30.

6 hours is almost perfect, just like 7.

let's see...

significantly reduced carb consumption down to "barely above hungry levels" (ended up eating 6 bananas and 2 corn tortillas yesterday with this approach, my calcs suggest 175gr-200gr of carbs were had, as opposed to 15-18 bananas that'd be normally had a day, upto 450gr.)
upped sodium intake (probably had 2600 mg)
protein consumption up to 70-90g, eggs comprising 50gr of it.

and activity levels were pretty much the same.

no signficant issues with this approach. possible issue eating the 1000mg sodium pickle, immediately felt that characteristic left jaw sensation 'pressure' but it came as soon as it went. pretty sure by the savory goodness of the fish broth later, my body was really needing sodium.

for comparison:

To clarify, carb “quantities,” here’s a generalized description:

the average American consumes well over 300 grams of carbs per day.
standard physician recommendation for people with type 2 diabetes = 200 grams per day.
low-to-medium carb quantity = between 100 to 200 grams per day
lower-carb diet = under 100 grams per day
very low-carb diet (also known as ketogenic diet) = under 50 grams of carbs per day

The one other time i had "normal amounts of sleep" was when i jogged 1.5 miles, then I had 8 hours of sleep.

Seems to suggest when bloodsugar levels are too high, sleep is disrupted.

this persistent right lobe periodically pulsing pain (every 10 seconds with gaps of minutes between clusters) since yesterday, however, is annoying. Of unknown origin, but I'd infer it might be of vascular origin or sinus or muscular origin.

palpating it doesn't seem to /obviously/ elicit soreness, key sign of muscular origin, but it seems like I can feel some kind of soreness in certain areas of the right forehead that can't be reproduced on the left. so, possibly/probably muscular, slight possibility of sinus. more concerned about vascular origins, which is a plausible etiology considering the events in the last few days.

estimating the cost of this design at...

13+7+2*7+3.50+8*1= $45.50

use for comparison when calling for quotes.

if the price difference is something like $30, then with 16 trusses, that's a potential savings of $480 which is well worth it doing it myself.

calling two places for trusses.

homedepot doesn't do it, but they directed me to 84 lumber and from the reviews, I also saw ProBuilders, so going to call both.

got the subfloor done this morning, took about 2 hours to complete the edges, now time to build/acquire trusses. I'm getting quotes hopefully within a day, and based on that, i'll make the decision to build or buy.

lol, liked this. One time while getting carotid pain, I started singing and it soon went away.

Believe it or not, singing can add years to your life. According to Business Insider, it reduces stress and promotes positivity by producing endorphins. Singing is also a physical workout that exercises your heart and burns calories. Next time you’re driving to work or to lunch with friends, turn up the radio and sing — it could potentially add time to your biological clock.

Oh wow, looks like my original estimate estimtaed the truss cost at $23 per truss, lol. yep, so the actual cost will likely be...

$45*16= $720 vs. my original estimate of 454 for a 20x27.

So, looks like I underestimated that cost too, lol.

So far, cumulatively, looks like there's been about $550 in underestimates with the foundation, framing, subfloor and trusses.

I'll get a good idea of the actual $/sq.ft. once the project completes, I'm closely tracking expenses and keeping them logged.

I decided to go smaller for kind of this reason (less risk of running out of money so project can't be completed.), but also to have investment capital.

Both subject groups saw an improvement in liver health with reductions AST, ALT, and GGT. The fat content of the liver and Hba1c levels also improved in all subjects. The animal protein diet reduced liver fat content by 43.6% whereas the plant diet reduced liver fat content by 37.1% (p < 0.001). Hba1c levels were reduced by 0.58% in the animal protein diet group and 0.41% in the plant diet group (p < 0.001). Insulin sensitivity, derived from hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamps, improved significantly only in the animal protein diet group with a change of 0.88 mg/kg BW/min (p < 0.05).

The plant protein diet group saw an improvement in kidney function, which was not found in the animal protein diet group. The serum creatinine reduction was 7.79 micromols per liter (p < 0.01). Glomerular filtration rate also improved in the plant protein diet group. This finding could have important implications for dibetes patients, considering that renal damage is a typical complication of the disease. It is also important to note that the animal protein diet did not have an adverse effect on kidney markers.

Overall, this study suggests that a high-protein diet with controlled carbohydrate and caloric consumption may be beneficial for diabetes patients. Animal and plant sources of protein seem to give different benefits.

(btw, plant protein is things like nuts and seeds, like soynuts and peanuts and its derivatives like tofu and peanut butter)

This is what I'm somewhat concerned what might be happening with diabetes. excess potassium levels would suggest impaired kidney functioning which is common with diabetes. and excess carb intake is associated with causing diabetes. so, habitual excess banana intake could be plausibly causing diabetes and subsequently impairing renal function thus plausibly increasing the risk of excessive potassium levels, which is certainly a risk with high banana intake, lol.

So something of a double whammy, which might explain why it manifested so dang quickly (less than a year).

I'm just hoping whatever disease processes I may have inadvertently aggravated aren't permanently progressive... there's some level of controllability and regressiveness...

most of my bananas are going rotten with the significantly reduced consumption, despite only buying 3 bunches. I guess next time, I'll only buy 2. I buy them every 3 days because of how quickly they ripen.

With the new consumption levels...

what are my projected grocery costs?

$5(bananas)+peanutbutter($2)+sardines($3)/3days ->$10/days -> $100/month.

Then $60/month with everyday tacos. Could be halved to $30/month every other day, have a strong feeling it'll go to 0 when i move to the new location. (cheese and egg intake will go up with a refrigerator)

Living close to the dollar store, felt like i could get used to that.

Too bad most of the girls in the neighborhood seem to be crackheads, meth heads or similar, judging from the characteristically shrunken faces and heavy bags under the eyes.

I get the sense most of those people "settled here", whereas I'm adroitly moving up the property ladder and this is my second stop in the second year i'm here. Caucasian crackheads and hippies is a step above having illegal immigrant druglord neighbors, that's for sure!

At least those neighbors aren't shooting you because you're white!!

there's a really interesting border town over near washington. lemme find it. (it's right on one of the tails of vancouver, canada.)

You should look at the real estate prices in the greater vancouver area first. A wealthy man like you might be able to afford to live in a self-storage unit, at least if you don't get caught.

just took a look at tsawwassen, only 1 million to 5 million canadian dollars. lol

Surely that equates to 50,000 USD after adjusting for exchange rates? lol

checked xe, looks like a cool $782,000 usd, lol.

People must be paying quite a premium to keep their wealth protected from Uncle Sam, probably a bunch of millionaires and billionaires...

There's mexico, but if mexico IS ANYTHING LIKE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD (Which it is from what I've read and heard from some mexican immigrant neighbors), FUDGE THAT! I'd only consider buying into an exclusive expatriate neighorhood that was well-fortified and well-secured. Akin to a military base, for example.

According to google $1M CAD is $782,600 USD right now.

It never was a worry to begin with, and I guess you don't have to worry about my wealthy businesses making jobs for your country. Your country is too wealthy to be concerned about that!

My regard for canada is mainly shaped by climate which isn't exaclty high, but in terms of politics/nations/etc., it does have the benefit in some very limited cases of NOT BEING THE USA and THAT'S ABOUT IT! lol

In many cases, it has the detriment of BEING JUST LIKE CALIFORNIA, LOL. The only good thing (southern) california has relatively speaking is THE COMBINATION of good warm weather and no mosquitos, which isn't worth its weight in gold in my opinion!

there's places in the usa which have good warm weather, but they have mosquitos, and there's places with no mosquitos, but they're scorching deserts or colder northern climates.

I think another way to describe 'good warm weather' is goldilocks weather. not too hot, not too cold, just right... all year long.

nice.

2nd day of the dietary change...

mainly...

1500 mg sodium baseline assured via daily pickle consumption.
up egg consumption to 2 eggs daily. (mainly for protein)
decrease banana consumption to 'just above hunger' levels, very rarely eat more than one banana at a time... which now means i'm eating like 6-7 daily.

-last night just got a solid 6 hours of sleep.
-and just recently, no fleeting numbness/tingling in the left arm during the peak of exertion. this itself seemed like an indicator of poor health.

And no obvious "panicky hypoglycemia" episodes or anxiety caused by eating something (recently, bananas).

So, looks like this is looking like a solid improvement.

there are people claiming they can survive on eggs and meat alone, and in my recent experience, there seems to be some plausibility to this. eggs seem capable of getting rid of hunger, which is not something every food can do; for example, peanuts can't. the longest living animals seem to do so by surviving almost on eggs alone, for example, that guys cats who lived 30 years old on average.

so i was told mexico's neighborhoods are much like america's.

there's poor and wealthy neighborhoods.

Ok, so where's the suburbs? something like a suburban neighborhood of 2000 sq.ft. single family detached housing that's pretty common in the USA?

google keeps telling me of these expensive downtown neighborhoods of mexico city, which is silly, because those aren't suburbs (houses). that's city (apartments).

google image search isn't showing me much in the way of recognizable suburbs. every image that looks like a suburb, I click, and it tells me about some united states suburb.

So, am I getting this right, mexico really doesn't have upscale suburbs like the kind America does?

I think it's interesting that people complain of no one building affordable starter homes in "good locations", and I snicker, BECAUSE I AM! Mainly for myself, but I could easily see myself building starter homes for a living during the better parts of the year. Really I need funding, something which i hope to acquire by the end of this year so I can kickstart that business.

It's not actually bad timing it works out that way, since the construction season (for me anyway) is effectively ending soon with the onset of summer, and it doesn't resume until november. with super saiyon busyness mode, go, I could plausibly build houses and do christmas all at once. Not all day kind of work, but i could get progress done at a good rate.

Wall Street has nothing to do with that. The government forces that to lower the value of their bond debt.

As with everything, you have that twisted and distorted. Taking something that starts off partially true then turning it into pretty much false. All this time you spend posting in the last 24 hours, you could have made $150 loading. When was the last time you made $150 all in the same week?

Dauntless said:
When was the last time you made $150 all in the same week?

Trick question, won't answer it. Don't want to invite further investigation and competitors, after all.

lie,cheat and steal.

Nah, I only cheat, no more than that. I'm quite respectful of not taking tangible property from others. And, not really much of a liar myself, I only obfuscate and equivocate when there's legitimate plausible legal or business competition risks at play when people ask me sensitive questions, but never really lying.

For example, someone said "you just moved here?" after checking my license while purchasing wine
I said "I got here and I'm looking at buying some property".

Did I lie? Not really.

I definitely got here.

And I am looking at property, mainly the one right next to me in the court.

And that reminds me, I need to get my license renewed. That's one red flag, having an outdated license.

damn, apparently i need to go to washington state for a renewal since it was renewed online "last time".

what's the plane ticket cost to seattle? $137... then I need to park and ride to the airport...

can i get it done in less than 3 hours? same day flight.

office is 10 miles away and transit would take upto an hour one way.

so, i'd need at least 1 hour to get there, 1 hour to get back and at least one hour to get processed, preferably 2.

I could plausibly get away with an outdated license if I never purchase alcohol and never got stopped by the cops. don't purchase cigarettes or guns either, so no more concerns than those.

that means i should stockpile the wine...

can hit 4 hebs within one 60 mile trip, assuming 20 bottles each, I can net 80 bottles. If I expand my selection to merlot, i can net an additional 80 bottles.

with each bottle lasting 5 days, one year supply would require 365/5 = 73 bottles.

So, 80 bottles should do fine.

You ask, why you don't get a license in texas?

well, because, that means I'd need to get car insurance because vehicles need to be registered too.

granted, I could just go back to the DOL and say "i took the bus" when they ask if i drove there, then they'll take me to the registration counter.

If they ask about any vehicles, I can claim I just sold it and got here. And preferably don't have the vehicle /right outside/ so they can check, lol.

Need to get that done pretty soon... looks like tomorrow is a free day, waiting for truss quotes.

will soon evaluate the local dols potential...

preferably one relatively close to a shopping center...

but that would look quite bad, huh, presenting a texas license while driving a washington licensed vehicle.

that'd make me susceptible to local state laws, which might be incriminating.

I just need to make those plane iternary logistics work out...

when going to the airport, i could just flash my passport.

just where is it is the question...

looks like there's a plausible dol within 4.5 miles of the airport.

What can I do a 4.5 mile run in?

About 40 minutes.

then 40 minutes to get back.

asssuming flight times are right,i have 3.5 hours.

that's a pretty big assumption though.

flight delays, etc.

might want to have uber at the ready.

as long as the arrival time to seattle is correct, that's what really matters.

i guess i could get car insurance...

just got a quote from my cheapest insurer, $150/month. Yep, i knew it, they're just waiting to hose me.

I was paying $33/month back in nuke school.

and they're waiting to hose me because of wall street.

part of the financial tyranny I'm rebuking against.

some detractors say "oh, but you're a cheat" or whatever.

Nah, I'm revolting against the wall street banking thieves who steal as much as they can from everyday americans via mortgages, student loan agencies and their health insurance and car insurance agencies.

If you don't see how wall street is ruining America for so many a demographic in various ways including millenials, blacks, mexicans, etc, and hell almost everyone via health insurance.

you ARE FUDGING BLIND.

Which is not to say I don't understand, I understand, most people don't really see the connections in the greater economy. And most people who are not millenials and are not part of "the suppressed" will be of course less understanding.

So, if you want to call it cheating, yeah... I have an addiction to cheating thieves who are trying to steal from me.

Anyway, back to that flight... as long as the arrival time is good, than alls good.

so we need to know "punctuality" for this carrier I'm looking at.

Do I think my 7:45 a.m. flight is going to get delayed?

You wouldn't think beginning of the day flights would get delayed like middle of the day flights might tend to...

https://avia.tickets.ru/en/rating/UA/punctuality

And punctuality looks pretty good taking that into consideration.

and one month... can i get the house shell built in one month and get my shit moved over there so I won't have as much risk of getting it stolen...

think I'd "board up" the side windows and back windows and rear doorway for now.

I'm willing to bet i could if i made it a priority, at least get the wall sheathing up. Or i could just leave my shit here, it's somewhat secure enough for a same-day trip.

things we need to verify or secure prior to flight.

1) uber app on phone works. don't want hiccups when i get there.
2) passport found and secured.
3) tickets in hand or sheet used to get tickets in hand.
4) method of getting to the airport fully thought out. where do i want the van left during the day at? Might be best to just park it at the airport. (just determined, ecopark at the george bush airpot at $7.50 for the day would be best.)
5) driver agency address.

and just got a quote back for the trusses.

For trusses that'd cost me $454 to construct, it'd cost me $1800 thru the truss manufacturer.

Oh yeah, fudge that, I'm building my own.

So we need to get the lumber tonight and start making them tomorrow.

I should start checking out lumber pricing right now so I'll know who my goto supplier will be,will likely need multiple trips.

so looking at the picture, looks like we need...

home depot prices shown as of today...

20 foot 2x6 (12.82)
12 foot 2x6 (10.31 vs two 2x6x8 at 6.77 each, or $13.40 total)
14 foot 2x4 (8.32)
8 foot 2x4 (3.39)

mag
-----------------
2x6x20 yp 14.99
2x6x12 yp 7.69
2x4x16 yp 11.29
2x4x8 yp 4.19

looks like they're cost competitive with the 2x6x12, and i'll need 8 of those.

---------------------
mccoys

2x6x20 sp 11.99
2x6x12 sp 7.99
2x4x14 sp 6.99
2x4x8 sp 3.69

winners
2x6x20: mccoys
2x6x12: mag
2x4x14(or16): mccoys
2x4x8: home depot

interesting there'd be so much variance. lemme recheck home depot, tis suspect that 2x4x8 is its only winner.

looks like it's true.plus, homedepot onlyhas whitewood on some its products, weaker than southern or yellow pine.

so we need...

16x 2x4x8 from hd.
32x 2x4x14 from mccoys.
8x 2x6x12 from mag.
16x 2x6x20 from mccoys.

a trip to home depot is another $3 in gas, for how much savings vs mccoys? 30 cents savings*16 = $4.80

well, i could clear out that heb of their wine on the same trip, actually, let's clear out both stores in the area.

guess that'll be the mission tonight.

then likely two trips to mccoys.

then one trip to mag.

the trip to mag I'll make on a construction day and bring along some of the other necessary lumber, so i waste less mileage.

is a trip to mag justified?

mag savings over mccoys is 30cents each for 2x6x12 or $2.40 for the entire set.

one trip uses $2 in gas.

looks like it'd be a separate trip to mccoys for it anyway with all the other separate trips necessary, so looks like it'd be justified.

You can buy everything but pistols/handguns with an out of state license.

now, for washington residents, there's some provision like 'illegal to take back home' or some such without proper certification... but, no problem for me, lol.

i noticed, you're in the peripheral vision of a girl and you look at her... even just momentarily...

she notices you're checking her out.

some girl looked back, another girl started brushing her hair with her hand.

maybe it's just the summertime, brings out the slut in us.

or maybe the highschool sluts...

*shoot, how did he know?*

lol, I doubt that.

the heb chick, there's no doubt she was crushing.

and so was I... dang...

todays carb consumption was like 3bananas and two apples.

I swear waiting until you're hungry and keeping carb portions single-serving or close to it is a pretty excellent method.

Because, you will definitely get hungry eventually. And it will not let up until it's satisfied. It's not a fleeting hungry feeling, it's something that persists and grows.

i last ate at 12 p.m. (had a banana) and didn't get hungry again until 9 p.m. (had 2 apples).

after having the banana, had a pretty hearty afternoon nap. felt pretty darn good.

eating 2 bananas in the morning had me somewhat nauseous. makes me think i overdid breakfast, should've just done one banana.

also had 3000mg sodium. you'd think if i had too much sodium, i'd be drinking lots of water, but not really true.

seems like when i was eating 12 bananas a day, i was drinking LOTS MORE WATER.

figure it's probably because carbs need water for aerobic respiration. Or does it?

There is a widespread sentiment that the system is rigged, but they don't exactly know how...

I just happen to know how because of all the research I've done and maybe some contribution from my 150 IQ.

Let me repeat. WALL STREET BANKS ARE THIEVES. And they are enabled by government regulations/requirements foisted onto the citizens.

Okay, does that notion seem utterly ridiculous? Or does it seem that way but you assume it's not because you don't understand it, and you're the kind of guy that gives them the shadow of the doubt?

i don't fudging care if (you think) THEY AREN'T STEALING FROM YOU IN PARTICULAR. THEY'RE STEALING FROM AN ENTIRE GENERATION AND MUCH OF THE POPULATION AT LARGE.

there's a reason for Texas's asset protections. The reason is because they recognize how wall street banks intend to forcibly steal property from the common man using money they stole from the people via inflation in the first place, which was a problem during the great depression, and they put laws in place to stop the injustice. That fact about their raison d'etre has not changed one iota, and neither has Texas law.

i think that's probably why i see a lot of houses hidden behind fences, even in "safe areas". can't post court documents to the front door with a fence in the way. seems like there's a lot of people hiding from creditors in this area.

anyway, remembering back to that dream where some girl called me a racoon.

let's see what I can find that might explain her intent...

So you're saying it takes a thief to know a thief. (Snort.) I'm sure you're smart enough to figure out that you're bragging about your IQ to someone who tops you in that department. Probably by more than you claim, I've noticed that people who throw around high IQ numbers generally don't have them, nor do they get the smartest guy in the room treatment, just like you don't.

You mean like they don't know how the aluminum pyramid stops the gamma rays from Alpha Centuri from getting through to your brain but you know it works?

Can you even explain what "Rigged" means? All that talk reminds me of the guy calling Larry King to gripe about the Trilateral Commission and Mr. King gave him the opportunity to explain why he hated them so much. He said "Because they get together and they. . .TRILATERATE!" To which Mr. King said his trademark 'Have a good evening, sir' as he hung up on him.

The problem most people have is that they don't have anything to steal. Wall Street is not creating that situation. Yes I could go on about that but you don't get it, some of the others here don't want to get it, neh, not worth it.

That fact about their raison d'etre has not changed one iota, and neither has Texas law.

Actually, it was intended to attract people who really are what you pretend to be. In the 1830's the American economy was in (GASP!) great upheaval. Outside the U.S., the country of Texas (What? You DIDN'T know Texas was its' own country at the time?) went to work to lure struggling capitalists into their safe boundries. Let's say you were a farmer in Missouri, you'd bought you land from a local "Banker" (Had a bit different meaning than it does today) on credit as the bank was formed by the owner with all the land to sell, then you stocked up on tooling and even slaves on money borrowed from (Need I say) Wall Street. Which had a far different meaning then than today, they were rather purely Adventure Capitalists there for centuries.

So business was bad, it was hard to sell crops. People were coming from New York trying to collect on debts, to whom these farmers were offering their slaves that they couldn't afford to feed at the time anyway. A lot of slaves were freed at the time for that very reason until the U.S. government stepped in to stop that. So the slaves were not being taken back to New York, but neither was any payment on the debt.

And here's Texas saying 'Come on down, we'll GIVE you land if you bring enough farm tools, slaves, etc.' You mean, just like that we can walk away from our defaulted loan on the land and hide from creditors? THIS is the birth of the 'Stick it to the man' mentality of Texas. It would be awhile before they'd see any need for real laws on the subject. But the point was not to keep Wall Street from stealing from anyone. It was to help these people to steal from Wall Street.

Not such great land they were giving away, but my great great grandfather traveled all the way from Saxonny for some of it.

went to bed at 11 p.m. (i think),woke at 4 a.m.

sleep felt harder to come by. think maybe sodium intake was too high, but water intake was upto par. should try to keep pickle consumption down to 1 a day. (1000mg)

but that second pickle just tasted so dang good...

cheese, later, felt like it was getting 'excessive' and 'unappealing' in taste. (cheese high in salt)

didn't really work hard, but cumulatively walked 3 miles.

not sure if woke due to sound of gunfire or naturally, it started after i was talking, so probably naturally.

need to gather all the truss material today.

since mccoys offers free delivery (allegedly), I think I'm going to inquire on that and get all my remaining truss lumber from them.

oh, but they deliver using a semi, don't they...

that might be a little hard.

think i'll try to arrange getting it dropped at my neighbors, seems like they didn't have problems with that last time.

-----------

update, apparently took another 2 hour nap at 6 a.m., ok, so it was normal.

Depends on which room I'm in, actually. Elementary school, sure did, the single European History AP class in a class size of 600 (which itself had a population of around 23), there were actually 2 people who stole that limelight! Not that it really concerned me, mathematics were more my domain than political personal motive figuring and intrigue solving. (not that it was /really/ my domain, my domain was /really/ more physics and engineering but only got a smattering of it in highschool.)

It's interesting the one girl who called me a loser for doing math problems for fun in History class was last time seen as somewhat you might consider "a loser". But that was 8 years ago, and people can change a lot in 8 years. But, was she really a loser, really?

I mean, if love is the meaning of life, and children are the end result of love, seems like she fulfilled that purpose. But, she was really depressed about her situation whatever the particulars were, I'd assume. Looking back, I might surmise someone left her, possibly the baby daddy. Familiar story.

I'm not going to get technical on the score background, because it's really not worth so much in the grandscheme of things on its own...

the value of man is in his lasting contributions to society, including children. And that's where ambition, execution and not-taking-no-for-an-answer comes into play (Because being the leader, the captain-of-his-own-ship,master-of-his-own-destiny, doesn't let others dictate to him or hold him down as the competition might so wish.). Funny enough, seems like it works that way with women too. Maybe that's how women seem to succeed at picking winners, the heb chick sure did find one in me.

personal enrichment is not the same thing as lasting contributions, but it can potentially contribute.
