I installed a ignition key switch on ONYX RCR, I want to by pass the alarm from turning off the bike. Right now i have the switch connector to the power wire that turn on and off bike from the alarm. I am afraid of loosing the key fob again while riding and get locked out. with the key switch the key cannot come out while riding, Any help would be appreciated

If you look at the Kelly manual you'll find that the pink wire (pin7) is ignition for the controller.
So what you need to do is to cut the alarm wires and the one that went to the Controller has go to the ignition switch.
Pin7 can take any voltage from 12V to 90V, so you can either switch battery voltage to it or 12V from the DC-DC converter.

by doing what you said adding 12v to pink wire, that will stop the alarm from turning off the bike. Can you still use the alarm for without cutting off the power?

Do you mean "can the alarm be used to set off an alert of some kind, without cutting power to the bike"?

If so, then as long as the output from the alarm can be wired to trigger whatever alert system you want to use, then yes, it could.

How to do that triggering will depend on the specific alert system, so you'd need to post details of that for us to help you figure that out.

If you mean something else, you'll need to be very specific and exact.

yes without cutting power to the bike, I was thinking if I leave the alarm connector and disconnect the pink wire and just wire it up to my key switch. i can install a second switch to turn of the power to the alarm so it doesn't work and turn on when I want to use it..

i hope so!! i will install the switch to the 12v power to the alarm, disconnect the 12V turn on from the alarm to the controller and my key switch will supply 12V to turn on the bike to the controller..
