I am wiring the high current shunt to my old 2.1 stand alone unit (It originally came with the standard 40amp shunt/Andersons). I am following the info on page 6 of the manual (pg7 of PDF). http://www.ebikes.ca/documents/CycleAnalyst_Manual_Vers21.pdf
It says the 4 wires leading into the CA are
blue
black
white
red.

On my unit, the wires are
solid blue
white with orange stripe
white with blue stripe
gold

Which is which? I don't want to wire it wrong and damage the unit.
Thank you

I generally ignore wire colors and check/verify against Circuitboard connection pinout pg 22.

if you still have the wires connected to the original plug, that will help too..also page 22

I did a parallel shunt to the large current sensing wires, the meter reads current with the decimal point moved over one digit, 90% of the current goes through the external shunt, 10% through meter, on the motor I am using I can draw 250amps, the meter reads 25, fileing the shunt till I got the correct reading.

Grin responded to my email:

Solid Blue = Ground = Black
White with Orange Stripe = S+ = White
White with Blue Stripe = S- = Blue
Gold = V+ = Red
