Cannot set parameters "old" ANT BMS

Finally back at the project again. I have wired up a 26s1p battery pack (the cells are 37AH) with an ANT BMS that I bought the summer 2020 and can connect to the BMS with the (IOS) ANT BMS app v2.3.4.119 and see cell voltages and see the Run_Time increasing. But that is where my success ends.

I cannot get the CurrentlyPermissions to anything other than 0. I have tried FastSetting and entering 123456789abc as Lv5AutPwd and click verify (but get no feedback, have also tried 000000000000), I have entered UnitNumber 26 and touched Settings and then save gotten Set_Success but nothing is persisted. Note that this is exactly how the app behaves also when not connected to the pack. Btw, after trying to set any setting the Run_Time stops counting if that is a clue.

I suspect I need an older app but which, from where and how? Possible with iPhone or do I have to find an Android? Is it possible to connect through a serial interface and set the parameters via computer? Or a PC/Mac application and bluetooth? Please help so that I can update my other project thread with some progress

You need an old version of the software. On iPhone the Chinese version is working with older ant BMS also, the English version only with the new versions.

How do I find the chinese version? My ANT BMS app was in chinese until I changed phone language to english. Now the app is chinglish.

Is this the one you meant? I was able to (I think) set the capacity and the number of cells and it persisted. Now, is there a translation sheet or something available? What are the key parameters I need to set?
