Hi All. As usual I've faffed with something and it's gone wrong, lol. I have a generic Chinese scooter (Quazzar/Ecobit 3000W model) and I've recently upgraded from 60V to a 72V Li-ion battery and Sabvoton 72150 controller when the controller died. I have been dialing in the settings and got to where I was quite happy, everything running cool/warm, awesome acceleration and 48-50 mph top speed. Suddenly I changed something (I know, you should change one thing at a time and take notes) and boom - 30% power loss, down to 38-40mph tops. What have I done? I've mainly been adjusting DC current limits and throttle end-points etc. I've even tried restoring factory settings and starting again with no luck. This has me totally baffled. I've spent a half day on this now, still 38-40mph top speed. Help?!

Ok, here's some thoughts! I noted down that in this BASIC parameters screen that I had both DC current settings as 150A and Rated Phase Current as 180A. No when I change the Phase Current to anything more and click "Parameter Store" the setting changes back to 150A. Shouldn't Phase Current always be more than battery (DC) current? Am pretty sure I had it set to more than 150A before!
Anyone??

Just found your post here and following with interest.

Recently acquired one of these Quazzar scooters - believed to be ex Pizza Express local delivery bikes used in U.K.

Did you get your controller settings sorted in the end?

I’m planning on running 72v pack on mine but haven’t taken existing controller apart to see if FETs could handle increase over standard 60v - did you try this first ok yours?

Also where did you manage to mount the Sabvoton - can see there’s space at bottom of existing battery area but looks like a struggle to get anywhere else including in the little storage area on the right hand side panel?

Thanks
