The part that had me laughing was “It’s called Electrical Tape because it conducts electricity”. Why o’ why would I want to discharge my other batteries to save a dead one? Why not just purchase a rechargeable battery and be done with it. :wink:

The last image of this ganged-up array of 9V batteries to charge up a couple of D-cells had me laughing out loud! Why why why would I have so many unused 9V batteries?

The whole 'Infinite Solutions' series is good stuff. However, it's quite old and he hasn't made a new one in years.

There's a part in there where he says "you never see a remote(etc) with batteries (in the same orientation)", but I have had numerous such devices where both batteries go in the same way, and they just use traces on the PCB or wires to deal with seriesing them, simply to make it much easier for the user to put htem in, I guess. (although many people still put them in backwards, as I have "fixed" lots of "broken" devices just by reversing the batteries they put in).
