Very common cruiser tire and decent for cheap 26" width. However, if it can fit the CST Cyclops is probably cheaper and stronger favorite among many cheep eBikers.

For a little bit more you can buy a Panaracer UfDa! - very fine wide 26" too.

Cheng shin is most popular because of vintage 70-80s bmx bikes used them, it was the tire back in the day. Back when bmx bikes were built lighter but much more dangerously, I had a old school bmx bike that the frame would literally bend if I petaled hard! Not sure if they outperform other tires these days but I would assume that is how they get half of their name by.

My frame will only allow a 2.15-2.2". I know this topic has been beaten to death but any recommendations for a good tire under $30.00?
Chen Chin is the biggest tire maker in the world and CST is their "üp-scale" brand.
I just switched over to the CST Cyclops and I am bowled over about how nice they are for so little money.
I am sold on CST tires.
Looking thru Amazon, I liked these better than the model you linked.

Any real help with flats on Ebikes is a good thing. And I like their look better.
You probably can't go wrong on any of the CST tires.

Used both that model and this one.

Ok as long as you don't try and run them above 55 PSI. But put 65psi in them and the threads tend to separate a make knots in the tire. I had 2 or 3 of them do that. I wouldn't buy another one. Threads are probably no more than 30tpi. Look for a tire with at least 60tpi, if you can find the tpi spec on the tire. I switched to larger tires so don't have a good recommendation for you in the size you want.

I ended up getting the holy roller from nigagra cycles. It was $28 bucks and a tire I've been keeping my eye on.
I think I will go with a cst for the front at a later date. I'm still on the original Kenda knobbies that came with my GT Avalanche. I can't believe how fast the rear wore out compared to the front. I think I still have at least a couple of months on the front.
Thanks for the replies. I'm the type of guy that has to research shaving cream before I buy. ;)

The Holy Roller is a little to open treaded for my street bike, but I have one for dirt too :D
Great all-purpose"" tire.
When you replace the frt., match the profile of the Roller, which is round.
The profile of the tire I linked, is more of a V.
