How do you guys clean your chain on your bbs02?
I normally use a park tools cyclone chain cleaner and pedal backwards. But with the bbs02, the chain wont go in reverse when i pedal backwards, so i can't use that chain cleaner on the bottom section of the chain.
What do you use to degrease and scrub your chains?

After messy mud ride i clean it with warm water spray from hose and then relube if it is dry. I lube with chain oil for wet ride. I replace chain every ~2000km. Replace cassette every 3000 km (after 12 and 14 t starts skipping). Simple.

I use a bike stand just like this one to elevate the rear wheel:

Bike Stand

Then I turn the pedals by hand and run the chain through a dry rag first. Then, using a cheap Walmart toothbrush, I hold it on the chain whilst still turning the pedals. This flicks all the crap off the chain. I do the same on the cassette and jockey wheels. I lube up with dry lube every few hundred miles. Have never degreased the chain since new.
No discernible drivetrain wear after 1800 miles.

BTW, you can do this with the bike powered up, but better watch yer fingers

i disconnect the KMC Missing Link. toss the dirty chain into a can filled w/ kerosene. soak a bit then swirl the can around vigorously

then i pour out the kerosene into a jar for later reuse. all the dirt settles to the bottom in a few hours

then i pour a mix of ATF + kerosene + gear oil into the can. swirl. then i wipe the chain w/ a rag
