OMG! I got it!

After a pack of smoke to calm me down. I went at it again.

Took out the old connector and wires, cut the new lines. Match up red white and black. Pull throttle and WHAM!

Good for you! Nice to hear how it worked out and it seems you have talent for electrics. If you rely heavily on your ride 'can never learn too much about Ohm's law and ways components are assembled. In fact, a 2nd bike is all the better to experiment and learn enough to rarely miss burning air/oil.
