Cycle analyst hook up to magice pie 3

Hello , iv tried search for visual explanation for hooking up cycle analyst to my golden motor
Magice pie 3 , what are the options ? (witch divices)
I would like to have in it : battrey indicator, watts use, voltage
and it will be great to have a visual explanation. For the analyst installation
, a video , pictures, any thing

It's all in the manual, but if you want to use a DP version of the CA, you will have to figure out where to put the wires on the controller, since it doens't come with them, and there is no documentation avaialble anywhere for that.


If you use an SA version of the CA, you just plug it in (though you may have to change the connectors on the CA or on your controller and battery).

I use the SA version of the Cycle Analyst with an MP3, and the hookup couldn't be simpler. The external shunt is simply wired in series with the battery and motor feed. You get all the energy statistics including the regen amount when that comes into play. What you do not get with the SA version is any control of the throttle by the Cycle Analyst.

But the MP3 comes with bare wires for the power wires, at least mine did. Golden Motor's wiring diagram for the MP3 also just shows bare wires for the power wires. Do they just include Anderson connectors if you also buy the battery from Golden Motors??
