Hi guys!
I am new to ebikes and would like your feedback!
I would like to continue to ride a cyclocross, for many reasons, but how do you work out the throttle on drop bars? Also, any good way out there to do a torque sensing scheme, like the BionX? I really like how they feel.
What about low cost mid drive kits like those:

Any experience? They do seem quite lighter and more efficient that hub motors. I do a 110km commute (55 each way), so I need range! I already ride at 32-35km/h, but would like to bump that over 40km/h. To get that kind of speed with a hub drive it looks like you need a monster setup...
Anyways, please let me know how you would make a low cost "road bike" style setup that get over 40km/h with pedaling and how you would throttle this thing!
Thanks in advance!
