Is there a possibility that the 500w motor is coupling to the frame that in turn is acting like a sounding board? In addition could the fairing be a focusing/reflecting agent for the motor's sound?
I'm asking these questions because I'm in the middle of a Cyclone 500W build, and I'm considering adding very firm rubber isolators between the square rods and the frame to help manage the sound of the motor (that I have not yet heard).
