Cyclone 500w on BikeE

Is there a possibility that the 500w motor is coupling to the frame that in turn is acting like a sounding board? In addition could the fairing be a focusing/reflecting agent for the motor's sound?

I'm asking these questions because I'm in the middle of a Cyclone 500W build, and I'm considering adding very firm rubber isolators between the square rods and the frame to help manage the sound of the motor (that I have not yet heard).

As a fanatic regarding noise, I can tell U that most of it comes from the gears internally. Cyclone is planetary, but if the gears are straight cut, it WILL be somewhat noisy. We have tried all sorts of things on the MY1018 motor, with varying results. See the noise thread for Ezip and Tylers solutions and mine for the noise! Nuthin is perfect yet!
