Cyclone controller 48V 36V compatible?

the motor in my photo is 9.5cm will able to run 48v , 2200watts . There is two version for cyclone motors, i think your is the same as my. As for the 500watts motor version will work for 48v ~ max60v. Since i have been running this 500watts motor with 48v ~ 60v Max, for few years , No problem. now im also running this cyclone 48v motor. i think you can buy this as a spare controller, Or not Buy. if your motor for 36v 960watt is still running fine, i think you can wait until controller is no longer working. for a best cost + reliablity i will go for the huatong or greentime .

My suggest this greentime controller is a very good replacement, when is need, necessary . but you must wire the halls wires+ phase wire. if your cyclone controller is still doing fine, I will run the motor until it no more longer running, then it will be so much worth while to do the changed, or say UPgrade.

i have open up my green time controller , it was 63v caps, not 100v caps. this is still okay for me, i will run them with cyclone motors. so those guys who own greentime controller, the caps has to be double check. My stock is 63v caps, luckily i didn't run with 60v cells, if not they will blow. so my is a standard controller 48v 1000watts - is caps 63v. if i have run more powerful controller i will buy one from him again, I think not so soon.

Ok.
Now I have my greentime 48v controller, can someone please point me to the thread that explains how to wire this up to my Cyclone 960w kit?
Thanks

the cyclone motor wires out , you need to find Orange wire, yellow wire + RED, white black.. all these 5 wires is for the halls.
The Orange wire you solder to a BLack thin wire ,
The yellow wire you solder to a RED thin wire,
the red wire you will solder to green,
the white wire you will solder to a blue,
the black wire you will solder to a Yellow.

for the Orange and yellow will be fixed line. You can only play around with the green blue and yellow.
please see the jpg file. i have added, it should be simple. you must understand how to solder a halls, only 5wires. i hope this doesn't confuse you.

green time controller has the 3 phase wire. You can also use only 3 phase wire thick green, blue, and yellow... to connect the thick white , black and red wire.. it will also work but Not as smooth as using he sensor mode. try the connection UNTIL you see it is smooth spinning , that is the fun. you will also see it can clock wise or anti clock wise. try the sensor mode.. buy some thin wires and do the connection.

remember - cyclone motor the orange is a ground, and he YEllow is 5v. Please do not be confused, it is not +15v. just connect to a red wire and hook it to the green time controller. please ignore +15v is actually +5.. ha ha

wire No2, no3, and No5, no6, no7 will be in used . No.1, 4, are Not in used.
The Phase U/A, white, and black will be in used.

Thank you my friend.
I will be very busy this weekend getting my bike on the road.. :D

Sorry to bring up this old topic but i tried the cutting of the green wire (warranty is expired so nothing to lose there) nothing happened the lvc still prevented it from working.

i wanted to run a 48 volt from a 6s lipo 24 volts.

maybe cyclone and oro changed their parts so now the lvc is in the controller instead.
