Hi all I got my motor mount glue back..
I used

Acrylic glue .

I hope it hold .
To give me time to work out how to make a other better this this time.

Wood or I like clear plastic.

And yes use I use 20mm Acrylic x2

Is 40mm. I look at 3d scanner then I would be able to 3dprint it?

Hi all I fixed my motor mounts. Use hot glue to help

For a test . I did not have My big vesc so I found a big hill. To ride down

To my shock it pedals very well low speed. And hight speed

I use n.o.s 3.0 tires.

So this like a 29" wheels set. Once I got speed I was able ez add my own power in 6 gear. Of the 8 speed I have

My guess the gearbox is good to 70to 85 km then pedaling is be useless.


Waiting for 30wight bellray oil I never try this band

Hi, please, can you give me dimensions of seals needed for gearbox oil mod? I changed gears in gearbox to steel after failure and I want to try make it quieter.
 
Hi all has for oil seals. I never keep info about seals before install them . the bearingand seal shop for got some for me
All I know is out one I. D seal is 20mm Output shalf
The iner seal only 1 lip

Just
Rebmer I charge the bearing from 12 mm to 8mm hight only charged the out bearing
To fit seal it's 2 lip seal.

I add 2 bolt hole to add oil. I end up not use big o rings I just some gastes sealer From motor bikes

It rubber based. I did not have the room


Were do find steel sun gear for cyclone 3000/4000
I can guess why you blow out old ones . Crazy try 9000 watt not cooling..

Paco cyclonebike@gmail.com offered me steel gears. About 70USD included shipping to CZ. They use them in new 4800w cyclone motor.
I hyve my setup with sabvoton 130A battery and 290A phase and temperature sensor. Controller limit power when overheated. I'm thinking about electric fan for better cooling. Maybe in summer... :) Now overheating is not problem.

Say cyclone OK motor it not a 3220 I can tell you I get about 10percent more range with it. .

I never use plastic Gears before . I need to know What lithium grease /oil bath

I have one set of 3d printed gears made of Taulman 910 alloy. I think, 3d print from good material can be a way.

But not tested yet. Steel gears arrived to me faster then printed and they are not as loud as expected.

I was Look the them close At pics looks like You need a cisclip grove top and bottom.

Big o rings nbr 70inperial

And one bearing 20x42x8

No problem to generate gear. Its M2, 20 degree angle. I made it stronger. 18mm instead 15mm original to better strengt and it fit in gearbox. Inner hole I made 27,8mm to press bearing to its place. No need lockring to fix bearing in its place.

I recomend nylon strengted by some composite like Nylon with carbon fibre or Taulman 910 alloy.....
And idealy 100percent infill.
But not tested life of this. I test only one from PLA fillament with 20 percent infill(bad material to this aplication) to test model and it works but lasts only abou few kms. Better then expected. :)

I don't have standed gearing .
This sould make bike go faster.

Trade off. If I am right not the best climber.

Once I tested it. I can. Change back wheel to fix climbing speed.
Change again gearing 13 t motor freewheel.
And not a half link chain
Should climb better
Has my leg input via gearbox

I try oil mod no leak so far.. I use about 200ml if oil it was noT full . Inject it via bleed holes

It sound very different.. Like 2/3 the speed

It sounds slow 😎 it not...

Only thing to worked how wire c. a 2.2 from control 😥

Wait to test 3dprinted gears and big vesc And new fan. It blow not suck

Update I test ride to burn battery . Weird thing

C. A 2.2 show more burn then hoppy king matter.
C. A say 3.5 ah
Hobby king matter say 2.5 ah

Which one it right??


It very cool ebike you can't hear Till use full power.

My gearing is too slow. I know can 65teeth From shop . For quick fix.

EBay I get a 47teeth How small can you get in#25 chain rings

Hi after riding wet weather. Not the best for testing ebike.
All I can say wow.. Once I up grade my spring.
From 350 can get 700 pound. Bike will be done

New 30 wight oil feel great. When done you hard to hear motor when rideing you needto look to see it moving .. Note To my self I use 1.1L of oil


I do burn out from a stand sill. Or wheelie if not careful

Am Not I try .I am running 12s. . If was using 18s my gearing would be good. Past car speed

I may use a 70t teeth? For back it unlike any other bike owned.
Right now back it 81t

May go back to 14 teeth freewheel
I find found better quality one in my bin box new
Cyclone 14t stock freewheel is cheap... And can break.

Unlucky was Not able fit new 14t freewheel no choice to use dicta14t freewheel and halfllnk chain .
It fit nice .i given it a hot oil bath

To clean it and lube it

You can keep paddling at hight speed.. 😆

Hi all tested new gearing. Wow this thing sounds like a nongeared hub motor. 😇
Had a very close call to crash. Ride up a hill next sic bump power. I was half way a cross road
I run over my own leg and sill rideing no stopping


Looks OK like a got a small a fewdrops oil leak only when motor get warm. Hand test motor hit 40c

New fan sould cool down more.

I add vent ports for air when I changed sun gears they been made now


I may use 75teeth for back wheel .
My c. a 2.2say I get like 8000watt which bull shit.

I tust my hobby king matter now..

I get range test no bad about same my 3220and Dave gearbox but hell alot less noise..

I was ride this on a trial you will not hear me past you 😋

Hi all. I been push it. To my shock it never failed.
No use halls
Dose not get hot I lost Alot oil now

I sand test it. Wow all I can say it has tox to drive over dry sand. 🙏😎
The last ebike could that was dual cyclone mini It had halls

And not for long.

I can't wait to try new parts come in post next week.

End up have use 67t with #25 chianring I start to lose tox I can feel it.
I need a full disc or 4 bar to be able mod and for it my hub

I may try 1.1 gearing. If cyclone OK for hills I keep it.
Look at make a new battery. Custom made for this frame. That means I use dual battery.
New vesc I start off at 120 phaze .
I now know cyclone 3000 has a limit. 150 phase.

New fan sould help cool it.

Keep watching soon I happy with ebike I upload video.

Hi all great day.

Got my new Big vesc with blue tooth . I can use phone to replace c. a and use A phone For data
Order new parts 15teeth freewheel 3 paw
700 pound spring big I could find
Change rear chainring for 3 time use 65teeth #25 this mean 1.1 pedal gearing
I fear if my c. a right
I may get some like 10000 watt

It a bit bigger then my 6 Fets mini mosters.

Which I am haveing hard time to believing I get 6000 watt up a hill. From 700watt in less then 1sic
Use my mini mosters

I found out my oil leak bad not From the big sun gear. But my inside seal. 1lip seal

This means I try to upgrade to 2 lip seal.

I uninstall suck fan to a new blow fan.
This may help to stop oil leak has bad.

I got a 2 lip seal 17x24x4

And made a lid for big vesc to cover hole.

Hi all looks like I able to upgrade motor to new cyclone motor 4800 watt.
Has it can fit in my custom motor mounting for this frame
I am work out payment and post cost Now

My. C. A 2.2 is crazy not moving say I using 8000 plus watts.
Limting dose Not work.

I now have a big vesc waiting for waether to get better I hate testing in rian

I hopeing my phone will replace a c a for data

New gearing when down to now 60teeth. Need custom work every time I try new gearing

Smaller 25# I know of is 47t can't find on ebay.

I know get one when change to 4800 watt motor.
Or I may change the motor shaft. To fit fan inside motor now. I change shatf to Ti to cut down wight and make new end cap.

I may cut out wire from motor and rewire it to higher temp wire. 180c

At this stage. May try find better magnet.

Say hollo to astroflight 3320 motor
Big vesc may hard time drive that

I got the hardest spring I could find for 3.25" shock


I was think it too soft. After a few car park hops.

It may be to hard.

I had this before only once you test it on a track.

Are you sure you need the big motor? It only makes sense to upgrade if you have over 60a.
 
Hi all yes looks like I need more copper in a motor if I want to keep it cool.

I will offset wight to change steel motor axle. to Ti

So a cyclone 4800 watt motor with most likely wight the same Cyclone 3000 watt when I done

My big vesc can ez push 150amp at 12s

More like 300 amp

This bike is able to do Rejen brake if I choose so.
Very rare for mid drive.
5 mins to change it

I take me 2 months to save up to buy. The cyclone 4800 motor.

Yes I have more powerful in runner motors .

I have to buy alot ebike parts this year.

Big vescs are 1 on my list to upgrade all bikes
