Hi Guys,

I just received a new cyclone kit motor the 1000 watts to 3000 watts version the biggest motor without the planetary gear. And I like to know if someone has use this kit with an infineon 18 Mosfets (100 Volt, 100 Amps) running at 60 Volt?

P.S. I'm aware about the poor quality of the mounting brackets, freewheel and controller failure. Soon or later this freewheel will be change for an ENO freewheel thanks for all the information I have found here!

Good day!

Hi David,

I'm actually thinking of designing something that looks like as an Optibike. I have a testing bike for those tests and I will experiment different motors on it, before I start to design this new ebike with Lipo's. Then i didn't trying it at 60 Volt until a year or two.

Back to your question the easy way to use a Cyclone motor at 60 Volt is to use an Infineon controller. Methods have juiced up a 1000 watts motor kit at 100 Volt and 100 amps with 18 Mosfets controller but he is broke everything except the motor and controller.

Next year i will buy a second 1000 Watts motor and put those (2) motor on my actual Black Arrow. This ebike is too heavy for pedaling purpose. Then it will be came an electric motocross with 20 inches rim and motocross tire, this frame is solid enough to handle that kind of torque and chain noise on a electric motocross is really something that I didn't care  when i'm driving them.

Good day!
