nechaus, i'm sure yours will. Mine will be geared for torque, not speed. Ultimately i will probably put 200A into it peak, 80a-100a continuous.
I weighed the motor.. 22lb, 9oz. or 10,234g.

Looks like your motor will fit well in that frame, i found with mine getting the right position to get enough clearance for the chain was a bit of a pain because of the way my rear forks were shaped, so i just made a weird motor mount that cost me next to nothing, was so cheap, but i will get once machined.
I really didnt like the holes for the bolts on my motor, i used some locktight.

LOL now thats a chunk of a motor!! You are a madman, And luckly one step ahead of me on building "the thing" , i can watch and learn from all your mistakes 
You know a old RM9 or Karpeil frame off here http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/ properly modified, could do it......and then you would have a real dirtbike instead of a freaky longtail whatnot. Put the motor near where the cranks would go
I mean my buddy rides one and he weighs a hundred pounds more than me, down mountains, dosent break !! I just bought a sweet frame for around 300 (santa bullit 2003). look for old stuff, its beefier........

I believe it would not be very flexy if the attachment hardware was replaced. Do i want to put money and time into making it mount to my bike more solidly? not really!

So i've got the motor side sprocket, the 40 pitch chain ( WOW it's huge.. ) and the wheel side sprocket from king sales and service....
The sprocket is really nice but they screwed up.
I told them 40 pitch, and leave as much meat on the gears as possible ( since the owner said he usually grinds a bit off to help with chain offset issues )
The tooth pattern / spacing is correct here but the width looks just a bit wider than a BMX chain. It is half the width of my 12T sprocket.
Mounting it to the hub, i realized something else instantly.
If run a as fat of a tire as i'm thinking ( 2.5" pirelli ).. then the chain is going to rub against the tire.
It's a good thing i didn't get a wheel built yet because it looks like i'm gonna have to run a 150mm rear.
..which has really screwed up my frame options bad...
Back to the drawing board.

Y'all are right. This is a pain in the ass and you get to watch me stumble the entire way through, should be a fun thread to watch :lol:. I'm now growing accustomed to being looked at like i'm a retard by some local shops.
But this painful experimentation phase is exactly how i learned how to do computer repair as a youngster ( age 11-13 ) & ended up having a career in IT for >10 years because of it.
Maybe someone can learn from my mistakes along the way. Sorry if it sounds like i am not listening to you guys. I just have a specific vision i'm aiming for, and it is easier to do things my way than to move in another direction most of the time. I also ordered a lot of stuff beforehand and thought this was going to go much smoother than the 'pie build.

Now if i can build up a bicycle front 100-110mm disc brake wheel for the rear, and plug a sprocket into it, i'm golden.
The downside is that i won't be able to run a very wide tire on such a narrow hub.
In the meantime, this project will basically be on hold until i get my hands on a yuba mundo or can get a rear suspension doohickey setup, as in the original plan.
I gotta get my e-grin back..

The full purchase cost is unfortunate. It is usually my goal to use budget branded components, test them out, and highlight the good/bad in them for the benefit of the public here on ES. But this is definitely an exception. I just need to get some motors hooked up, tested, and don't wanna sit around and bitch with chainlines etc! What a perfect design it is for that purpose!
In this case it cost a lot less than the Yuba. These are made in small quantity by hand. I will be offering some feedback to the company in terms of making a better chain driven eBike frame ( if that is their idea ) after i get it. Maybe there is something here, especially if these could get mass produced.

Thats an awesome frame that Design Logic is making. I don't know if Yuba is selling the bare Mundo frame anymore, they no longer list it on their website (it used to be $600 for no forks, BB, wheels, etc). For $400 including shipping, great deal! I am rather excited because i want to start welding, grinding, cutting, and putting together some very cool, very custom stuff.. no more worries about making noise etc.
I should have this frame in my grubby lil' hands in a week and a half if all things work out.. you will hear more from me later ..

Dude, the roads are way better. There are actually some bike lanes, for one, which go very long distances.
Sidewalk is pretty consistent and even where there are not bike lanes. Or there will be an alternate road to take.
The mayor is a mountain biking enthusiast who's been dumping amazing amounts of cash into making the area more bike friendly, so that's a plus
There are bike paths that seem pretty extensive going off my reading, but i haven't found those yet.
From my 'burb, to salt lake city, there is a frontage road for slower moving vehicles like mopeds and bikes.
It's not bike paradise, but it's a huge improvement over Colorado.

Did not answer my multiple emails ( it's been over a month ) pleading for a return of the 39t sprocket i ordered.
I called twice, and the phone was not answered, nor could it accept a voice mail.
Nobody called me back today, so i called a 3rd time later on, and finally got someone on the phone.
The response i get is that having half the meat milled off the sprocket is not a problem and that i'm worrying about nothing.
Then the guy continues to ramble on and on about various shit until i interrupt him with further inquiry.. then rambling some more.. yeah, i get it. I'm not getting a return and you want to waste my time. Thanks a lot.
I am still trying to get a rear wheel together. I have posted a 'wanted' ad for a broken 20"/24" hub motor wheel in a few places.. no response.. cmon, ES.. i know you got some melted hub motor wheels somewhere
Can't find anybody out here in Utah who can cut spokes other than 14 gauge, either..
So this shit is still on hold
