I am trying to get my KT controller to work with my 250w Dapu M155 hub motor. Some of the wiring on my original Ananda controller melted so I thought I would get a new controller and lcd and increase the Amps from 15 max to 20 and see if that would increase the performance a little as well.
It isnt working no speed and only drawing 30/40w of power so i think the P1/P2 settings are the problem.
I have spent a few hours searching for the gear reduction ratio of the motor/the number of poles and finally the magnet number for P2 without success. I have searched this forum and other with specific info but drew a blank so time to ask a question.
Easiest would be if someone knew the P1 & P2 values to set. But any info welcome

Its a new KT 36v 250w to 500w dual mode controller for brushless motors with a max current of 20A and a matching LCD 3, i tried it on a Bafang motor and it worked fine with the proper P1 & P2 values for that particular motor so I know its working ok.

Just to tidy this post up in case of a search, i tried a many different permutations with the LCD 3 settings over the past few days.
I got it working with P1 = 100 P2 = 1 C2 = 2 all the other settings were default.

Interesting. I recently bought a used M155 RD3610 motor. I could not get it to work properly with my KT controller. I tried the settings you suggested but it ran erratically when pushing the throttle from low to high. The magic fix was to set P2 = 6. After that everything worked perfectly.
