DC/DC RV charging system

Hello all, I have a PV panel I wanted to use on my camper to charge my Redodo 12v 100 AH battery, I bought a DC/DC charger that would allow me to also use the car alternator, the problem is my panel has an open circuit voltage of 36V and the charger has a max PV input of 26V, I can't seem to find any DC chargers that will do the job. any Ideas?

You should look into a suitable solar MPPT charger and not a simple DC converter, the MPPT charger will extract much more power from the panel than a simple DC converter which will just draw the panel voltage down as low as it wants based on it's output setting. A search for "12v MPPT charger" for instance will bring up many options with a suitable input voltage for your panel.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will do that for the PV. what do you suggest for vehicle alternator charging?
