Hi all, First time posting…
I’ve purchased a Vevor 2000W brushless motor with compatible 48V controller as minor upgrade/replacement for my modified 2019 Bullet…I also have Brand new lcd screen twist throttle, spare led twist throttle and old thumb throttle…previous set up ran dual throttles, led and thumb throttles using 48V controller with 1600W motor…this setup ran fine and I upgraded to lcd twist throttle and had to remove the thumb throttle as it wasn’t compatible…while riding along the throttle jammed on full and threw me off…scooter has not run since…
Installed the new Vevor motor and controller, wired up the key lock and led screen throttle and connected battery…the screen lit up, all good but nothing when accelerating…I’ve tried with watch different throttle considering compatibility issues, lights work on ignition yet nothing happening…I’ve got correct voltages across the charger port when connected to batteries thru the controller…I’ve not connected the brakes and brake light circuits, tried looping them out etc, the motor and hall wires are connected correctly as is the basics needed…throttle, key lock, motor hall and 3 phases for motor and still the wheel just won’t turn…I am absolutely baffled, have been riding/fixing/modifying these scooters for 10 years and never had this situation…is there some sort of sequence or order in which each thing needs to be connected…? The led throttle has different programming options but left in default mode since purchasing…I’ve replaced the throttle, controller and now motor and controller combination…it’s had 2 full sets of road race tires waiting to be used aswell as brand new 12” mags…I’ve also made the upgrade to hydraulic brakes, extended the rear frame for other gearing options, welded and reinforced the whole scooter at weak points…on a full charge I can reach 58km/hr with current set up,(when running)…
Please…does anyone know what I’m missing or doing wrong…?
Thank you,
Oggu
