Well, gee ya, spend millions on gov red tape, don't sell anything and, yup, you go bankrupt.

"UPDATE: The first bid, indeed! Drymer is now reporting that WITEC, a Dutch engineering and machining company, has purchased Drymer. WITEC also owns Schramifa, a machining company that was already involved in the production of the Drymer prototypes.

The debut of the new WITEC Drymer prototype is now expected some time this summer."

This is a classic example of an "enthusiasts" product that will not have a wide market appeal
It will be too complex and too expensive for a basic transport market.
