Does anyone have experience with the Bosch cells on an eBike? Everyone seems to like the Dewalt packs, but the dewalt pack prices have been climbing with the bosch packs are falling. $150+ vs $85.

Some notes from reading other threads:

Bosch packs are a true 36V while dewalts are 33V
Dewalt cells can discharge at higher rates
Dewalt BMS is no good
Bosch packs require less ballancing
Li-ion vs LiFePo

Can you charge the Bosch cells with a standard Li-io charger?

Hi,

Do the Bosch packs use the same Konion cells referred to here ( the 18650V):

I did battery pack with both of those..

Bosh Litheon - Makita LXT- BionX ebike .... they all use the 18650V Sony Konion Lithium ion manganese cells

These cells are 1.5Ah 3.7-3.8V and have 500-600 cycles and can be diascharged to 10C (15A).. and usually DONT NEED BALANCING ! and sont like temp higher than 50 celsius

Dewalt, Hymotion (for the plug-in Prius kit) and the GM Volt all use the A123 Nanophosphate cells.

These cells are 2.3Ah 3.3V and have 1000-2000 cycles and can be diascharged to 60C (120A).. and NEED BALANCING ! and can be abused
