Dillenger kit problems - (m) symbol and not working

I went down to Molendinar for a chat with him one day, just walked in off the street after a brief phonecall and he was happy to chat to a complete eBike newbie (I still am!) for an hour and let me test ride a Dillinger. Nothing but good things to say about them.

That sounds great, yeah seems like a great guy. Glad I'm on this forum and able to talk to him about the issues tbh, he definitely knows his stuff, and is a lot quicker at responding than the uk support. Which one did you try? I really love the look of the hunter, with a bbshd it must be a beast.

Update:
The new wheel arrived on the Friday, and the new controller and display on the monday. Literally amazing delivery times considering the controller had to come all the way from Australia. Sam has been spot on throughout and the service I have received really has been top notch. Came to install the wheel yesterday and discovered I had a flat tire, so have ordered a new tube and some rim tape and will be installing it all tomorrow. Although considering its all new apart from the battery and wiring kit I have no doubts that it will be working perfectly, will update to confirm though.

Might want to consider "Slime" tube or Schwalbe Marathon Plus tire to lessen the chance that you'll need to perform tire repair on the road.

Believe it or not I actually have both! They have been great for riding around but the puncture was on the inside and the slime failed to seal it up. Have fitted some rim tape though so hopefully won't happen again.

I spoke too soon about it being sorted though. The new wheel seems to have problems :/ it has a major squeak coming from around the centre and slows down majorly as if the brakes are stuck on. I have removed the brake pads to ensure that's not the problem and it isn't catching or rubbing anywhere. The squeak appears to be coming from the bearing on the brake side. Have taken a video but not having much luck uploading it atm.

Any idea on what the problem is or how I would fix it? Getting fed up now, just want my bike back!!

Final update,

After a very helpfuly discussion from sam we deemed that the squeaking noise was purely down to the seal, so after some wd40 the noise was then solved.
The extra drag we have attributed to the motor having a different wiring than the last one, so will happily accept that if it means more power from the motor :)

Successfully managed my 15 mile trip to work today, still with battery remaining. so happy to report that my bike is fully functioning again :)
Will update if I get any more problems but I doubt that will be the case with it being mainly all new.

Big thanks to Sam and dillenger, happy to report that customer service has been excellent throughout, an will definitely be buying all my bits from them in the future.
