Does this controller have a reverse switch ?

Just wondering does this Flipsky 75100 ProV2 controller have a reverse switch does anyone know?

Flipsky 75100 Pro V2.0 With Aluminum PCB Based on VESC For Electric Skateboard / Scooter / Ebike Speed Controller

My old basic controller I had did have the reverse switch which was handy for my build and would still like to have that if possible
If this new controller doesn't have a reverse switch option is there any way of adding it somehow?

Yes, but it's not as simple.

There are control modes that allow either the throttle to engage and reverse behavior (like if the throttle has a sprung-midpoint at 1.0v , but can roll either direction to 4.2 or down to zero) the vesc can handle that by either giving you regen to zero or going into reverse as well.

You can also plug in a second throttle on ADC2 and have much the same behavior (regen or even slow to zero and beginning reverse). You can also use the ADC2 input as more of a button and that can also change the behaviors.

VESC has, like, every option, but wiring it up and digging out the right way to do it aren't...the best documented.

Ok thanks, using ADC2 on a switch would be good, I just want a simple switch on my handlebars for reverse

On the wiring diagram I see this controller has an RX/SDA wire, is that not reverse? Or is that for a receiver or something else?

I vaugely recall there is something like that available, but I almost never wire up a reverse switch...no, wait I did at one point for my kid's hotwheels car...

Yeah, you can wire a switch from ground to RX and configure it to be fwd/rev.
