I had a feeling, glad to hear it worked out and with 4 rivnuts and a velcro around the battery I don't think you will have issues unless you start taking huge jumps haha!Bengy22,
After contac the em3ev, they reply to me in 30 minutes.... its like you said. Its the mecanic atach not the battery.
I put 4 rivnuts and will atach the battery with a velcro or something like that.
Thanks for your sugestions.
Luís.
Hi Bengy22,Have you decided what brakes you plan to use and how many amps you are going to push with that controller?
Hi Bengy22,I wish I had gone mt5's on my current bike, I've heard they offer great power! I might do a shigura setup as I upgraded my cheap shimanos to deore levers so I would just need to source some calipers, but for now mine are fine and I've also got a new bike in the garage so the ebike isn't going to see as much use for a bit.
3500w sounds fun, why limit to only 2000w? I think that would be too tempting for me to not do, my bbshd is 3500w and is wonderful!
Do you have an estimate on the weight of the bike?
And have you done a test ride yet now?
Hi Bengy22,
2000w is fine. Not to much stress on battery and controller. No heat...
The weight, around 20kg.
Yes, make a small test ride. The combo is very good. Nice motor. I think I can climb everything in my way. A lite bit noise...
Luis.
7Kw... !!!! Not for me.I'm never satisfied with the power I've got, always need more for the ebike haha. I got a sport bike which helps with that though. Sounds very good, 20kg is a very good weight for the power it's got in my opinion, are you happy with it in comparison to your last build? I wait for the test ride video . Did you see the crazy guy on Facebook that water-cooled his 1000w geared hub, apparently he's aiming for 7kw
Trapezoidal controller?A lite bit noise...
No. Infineon controller. Maybe in the future...Trapezoidal controller?
What is your TA solution on this one? I forgot.
