Hi I have a Jupiter defiant e-bike and it says that running it at Max speeds 28-30mph can mess up the controller on it.i always wondered if this true and what it could do .and in order for you to make it go that fast you have to go into the settings and change some things.i just wanted to know what it could do to the controller and how it can damage if it even can or is it just saying that.

Like a lot of factory ebikes, it's poorly designed when it comes airflow necessary to keep the controller from overheating. Any ebike with the controller encased inside the frame will have similar limitations.
Thanks

We're is the controller located ? Is it inside the battery or?
In those folders, it's usually opposite the battery (on the other side of the hinge). Look for where a lot of wires go into the frame. You can have more power without killing the controller if you have some discipline. But if you're always riding full throttle, then you could be pushing it home.
