I'm not sure exactly which category I should have posted this in, but I guess it is kind of a general statement. I really wanted to give a Kudos out to E-BikeKit.com. They were selling their rear hub motors at a very discounted clearance price. I ordered two. There was a very slight mix up on the order, something I probably could have lived with given the price of the original order, but it wasn't what I wanted or ordered. They immediately sent out the replacement parts at no extra cost or shipping cost. Now in many ways this may seem like a no brainer thing to do. However, I have to say that it is not that common in the real world. I have been ordering a LOT of parts over the last year. Probably about 1 to 2 items a week for a year. I have found most companys are nowhere near this easy to deal with. I am very impressed by their customer service, especially given the fact that I doubt they were even making much money, if any, given the price of the clearance. I was just so impressed by it that I felt like I needed to say something about it. That's all.

Absolutely... 3 cheers for Jason ! 8)

Like Jay, i've dealt with just about every outfit in the ebike industry over the past 5 years, only a select few fall into the stellar category.. ebikes.ca for example.. I can also list off a number of wich that should be avoided like the plague.. but as far as E-BikeKit.com goes he has earned my respect as an honorable dealer ! He puts his money where his mouth is and stands behind his reputation.. go EBK go !

Here are some of the things that make them excellent:

From a customer standpoint (I ordered a front hub from them a while back).
-They ship very quickly
-They make sure you are happy with your purchase
-They try to stay on top of the best products

From the standpoint of the Sphere community:
-They have provided advice on their kits
-They took recommendations of users seriously
-They have provided some users with products for review
-They change products to reflect user feedback

-And even though they were taken advantage of by a user who did not provide a review of a free kit, they have not complained about it.

Does he have an account here? I'm sorry I'm behind the times

+1
I was impressed by them. I was impressed by the quality of the kit, and the speed it got here. (and the price :D ) And when I called to order, I asked if they sold the parts to fit a disc brake. He said No, but recommended I order the adapter from Justin at Ebikes.ca. Not many online dealers would recommend their competition.

Eh? Me? They revised the kit. Anything I'd have said about wouldn't have necessarily applied to the new one. If I misinterpreted that post way back when, TOTALLY my bad...:( Even so, I would have posted about it, if I hadn't been broke at the time. (I seem to be broke a lot, actually...)
