Allex
100 MW
This controller should be good for at least 65amps
Stealth bomber uses the same box.

trying to figure out spokes so I can order spokes from holmes hobbies.
my front hub is a shimano saint centerlock hub. I've put in all the measurements that the online spoke calculators request but I'm short on a couple.
I was recommended 1 cross spokes for the motor lace, but what do I put in for the front hub? its asking for how many crosses gear side and non gear side?
other question is cromotor dimensions for calculating spokes? I'm waiting for a new batch of cromotors to arrive so I dont have it to measure it.
my wheel info
rims front and rear = prowheel 19"x1.4 36h
front hub =shimano saint 820 centerlock hub 36h
rear laced to a cromotor
any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

wingsuit said:yeah sorry I type typed it wrong. I'm putting the prowheel 19" onto a bicycle hub (that was my type, hub, not rim)
i was basically just asking if people had similar spoke lengths for the prowheel rims that they had mounted to a bicycle hub on the front. If you laced a prowheel to a bicycle hub did you have to go down to a smaller spoke?
Rick, to be honest I just found on online spoke calculator where I put in all the info and it spit out those two lengths
http://www.sapim.be/spoke-calculator
I just put in all the hub measurements from my bicycle hub (its a shimano saint 820 hub, 20mm through axel hub) and I just left in the 1 crossing on gear and non gear side for the spokes (which I'm not sure if thats right). I found a site that says shimano drills their hubs to 2.4mm so I have to see what gauge spoke will fit onto that. I'm guessing the cromotor would be able to run a thicker spoke?
I feel like I'm confusing myself enough that I'm going to get the length wrong, but because its a non standard build I dont imagine local shops will have all the required bits (ie the reducer nipples from holmes to be able to run bicycle spoke on the prowheel rim) so I'm trying to work it out so I can order from holmes
I've got a 18x4115 lyen on my monster bike.Merlin said:the 65A Lyen is with 4110 FETS....they can handle only 100v
the "high voltage" Lyen is for 45amps (and up to 150v) but 125v will be the best voltage-range.
the Problem with the 4115 FETS (up to 150v) is that they can handle only 50% less juice...
at that voltage with a 4080 it crosses the speedwish with power.
(excuse my english for explain)
my 4110 18fet can handle without any probs longer 10KW Peaks. (For testing and really short sprints i squeeze'd out 15-16KW)
the 4115 18fet will blow defently trying to get 10KW in a second.
now the Problem. to benefit from the high voltage controller with maybe 125v you need about 8KW for that Speed.
with my bike i need 5-6KW flying with 65mph. i'd like to use 125v (30s lipos)
125v x 45a you have a bit over 5KW...for a few months i asked lyen too for using 65amps with the 4115 Controller. (8KW)
he told me that theres a 30/70 chance to blow (70 blow)
the addapto i would prefer the max-E .....because the 4080 can handle 10kw peaks and when u update to a cro u have allready a fittin controller
btw....a phasor is on my wishlist...can someone tell me to fit 8000er Turnigys in it?! ( 10x 8000 to get 125v with 16Ah)
Merlin said:sure...with a (totaly) modified controller it should work. but i think that modification is not for everyone (incl me)
i would buy a 4115 controller who eats 80Amps on 30s. Someone have one to sell?![]()

Kike Ming said:Hello fellow Phasor owners. I've been a ES member for a couple years now. (under a different member name, can't remember my old password). Used ride a high end 2008 Specialized stumpjumper full suspension BMC V4 with BMC 50a controller and Ping 48v 20a. Top speed on flats 45 mph with lots of pedal assist, also 60 tooth sprocket! Anyhow, On November 27th, 2011 I was hit by a truck that ran a red light at high speed, while riding my Ebike. It almost killed me! I had an openbook pelvis fracture of 3-4 inches, and many other fractures. I was in the hospital for several weeks and later placed in a convalescent for 6-1/2 weeks. It sucked! Now I'm back! I was riding horse's, while taking a time out from any biking. Much more dangerous, I'm sure. In January I bought David Pearce's Green #1 bike, she's a beauty. Though slightly underpowered. I promptly set about fixing that. I'm no Ebike wizard so I need help and tech advise. I found Ilia of Ebikessf, He has a shop in S.F. close to me. So far I have got a new Crown T80 from Ebikes ca. and Ilia's working on a big battery for me, all we can fit in Beautiful #1. Also went all out and got the Schlumpft 34t/85t. She should be fast and even more stunning! I will be posting lot of pictures and video soon as I figure out how. I would like to thank all you brainiacs out there for all your help and inspiration. Comments and advise welcomed! I do have old video of the old bike on Youtube under Kike Ming, I think? Happy riding!
