E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Hi Cd, interesting post, in the 6th photo are the balance leads of 4 x 6S packs connected in parallel?
Is the BC168 displaying average cell voltage as though it's one big 6S pack? Cheers

Hey CD, nice stuff going on. Are you still running the Mini E on your Fighter?
Thanks!
Yep, the Mini-E is doing all the grunt, and coping well with all the cooling mods I've added to it:

I'm currently troubleshooting a cut-out issue, but I don't know if it's related to pulling 6KW or something else as I was able to run over 100A through it previously without issue, but the increased voltage could be a factor. I still need to re-tune it for higher voltage also, so that might also be a factor.
It just goes to show though...you don't always need the highest power motor/controller to pump out some serious power. For my kind of riding, which is more about exploration and range with the occasional burst of high power, the Leaf motor / Adaptto Mini-E combo is perfect as I can cruise all day at 3KW and rip it up with 6KW when I want to. :)

Correct, that's how it works when paralleling both balance leads and main discharge leads. Running 18S 2P of these I have 3X 6S leads to balance with and each of those goes to 2, 6S 10AH packs. I used to run 18S 5P (18AH) of 3700Mah Zippy Compact's which was a nightmare to wire up.
I also made my own balance leads with fewer connections and using 18awg silicone wire so I can safely run the BC168 at it's full potential of 8A. I'm probably going to make a bunch of these and sell them if anyone's interested. I'm also going to be selling the main discharge harnesses if anyone's interested in those also, but I'll shutup about that for now as I don't want to derail this thread.
I'll update my signature with the sales thread once I put them up for sale in the next few days.

Cheers

Anthan:: i had this happen when i ran my freshly rebuilt bomber rear wheel for the 1st time in the air. The rear hub chain sprocket was only hand tite... And when i hit the throttle it backedout and locked up next to the tq block.

I pulled the wheel and retorqued the gear.

Or perhaps your tq block came loose?

good morning , i need some expert advise. What is the problem here ? check the photo

For one thing your torque arm clamp is too close to the freewheel. It needs to be tight against the swing arm.

2x that….
Torque us rubbing on the freewheel….. not sexual…. gotta go against the swing arm…

on another note… Morning fun...

Are you looking for the throttle itself or the ignition key?

The throttle can be obtained from Amazon for about $37 USD.

Anyone have a link for su tour VBOXX crank arm replacement for the bomber. Haven't found them ANYWHERE online, or in this forum. I definitely need a new crank arm (don't ask why lol) but the stock sr suntour 170mm crank arms for mtb are all square or diamond and don't fit. At my wits end! Thanks in advance.

Contact Stealth directly. They stock them for a reasonable price, that said, shipping outside of AU will cost a bit more.

The same goes for most spear parts for the Bomber. I have purchased a lot of parts from Stealth HQ.

Woot! Just got my #145 frame back from AU. They did an excellent repair job. The army green with the black sub frame looks pretty slick if I might say so myself.

DAMN! That frame looks awesome with the Army green and black sub frame. Best combo I have seen yet. Makes me want.

I should of had them re-paint the side covers. But it's close enough. I can't even tell where they welded it. Really pleased with the turn out. Now time to down a 6 pack and fight with getting the v-boxx cable back together.
