Short answer is no. Stealth bikes come completely built RTR after mounting the front wheel, handle bars and battery.
What the Flux you talkin about Rix. ;)

Laughing my ass off. You are right, I don't know what the Flux I am talking about sometimes.

Neither did anyone else when they started.

BGS, Lurkin brings up an excellent point. Got back in this thread to about page 90 and start looking for my comments. You will clearly see, I was not very informed at all. I know a little more now, I can plug shit in and ride

For the last 6 months I was up in Vancouver… The land of e bikes. Its nuts up there. I shipped my bomber up there and rode everyday to work. And without fail I saw at least 2 e-bikes on the way in ranging from front wheel home deals, recumbants and a bad ass phasor. If you are into bikes that place was heaven. Beautiful trails and bike paths throughout the city, And of course the north shore is pretty amazing… totally different riding to what is here in cali. Much tighter and technical, the ground is much softer and loamy and beautiful trees and scenery. If any of you get the chance to ride up there DO IT!

on another note I rode my bike the other day and came back in and checked the tire pressure… (riding dirt) 10lbs on the front stock tire and standard moto tube (not HD) , and 10lbs rear moto tire and standard moto tube… Handles great. I weight 165lbs by the way. On my dirbikes I usually run 9 front and 8 back. and in the sand on the rear I lower it down it'll it feels like a deflated volleyball. Luv the low tire pressure… pics to come...

I shipped it in the original box. I have kept mine. As far as cost it cost me nothing I had a friend who was also going up for work who had a semi

Does anyone of you have experience with destroyed batterys, which where close to burning down or something like that? Like some extream fails? Would be interesting..^^ -Thanks for answering my other question. Didn´t even think about that, that such a bike would break down
Depends a lot on the chemistry DasDouble and the charging methods. A lot of the current generation Lico batteries are very dependable and the chargers have enough logic to prevent overcharging. Which is generally when failures occur.

If you look up the stats, USA alone has 700 odd car fires a day. Batteries arent the issue.

My upgraded skyblue bomber
Saint brakes, 888 fork, lupine betty R frontlight.
Just a suggestion, i see u use a mirror that stand on handle bar(pretty large in hight)
Maybe a caferacer mirror is something for u. Just sticks out at the end of your handlebar. Gives it a more aggresive look.

Nice bike, like the colour on it!

yeah but with such a mirror in case of a crash the mirror will be quite broken...

Athenaco, I though you were looking at a MC tire/rim conversion? BTW, nice head light, what kind is it? Love your setup.

It's been too long, but I finally got my Adaptto Mini-E setup with my Leaf Motor on my Fighter.

Took it for a spin today and it works great. The Adaptto makes for an excellent climber on steep/rough terrain and just plows through everything with minimal amps draw.
The new suspension (front and rear) is much improved over stock, and I can run my tires at lower pressures now less risk of pinch flats since the suspension can absorb impacts fast enough to prevent them.

I still desperately need to get a new battery. The original stock pack is sagging over 14V when I ask it for more than 60A

Apart from that, my fan cooled Leaf motor works well. The fans kept the heat under 80C with some very steep, technical riding. They also kept running fine through countless creak/stream crossings and massive puddles.
I was very glad I fitted that old mud guard to the frame before the controller. If you look closely in the pic above you should see it. It shields the controller very well, while still allowing plenty of cool air to pass over it for cooling.

I also found myself in the middle of a MTB race during my ride today. Needless to say, it was quite hilarious to overtake a bunch of guy's racing on my now completely silent Fighter. I don't think half of them could tell it was electric since the complete silence and direct rear view don't really give it away very easily.

Cheers

Yeah, i was looking at converting the rear rim, to minimise tube bites, however i havent ridden the bike for a while and kind of forgotten about it. The front light is a lupine betty r 12, 2014 model. This is 3600 lumen adjustable at various modes down to 1000 i think. It literaly turns night into day. The new current model is betty r14 and is 4500lumens, however it is maybe the most expensive headlight out there,
