How long do you guys need (in seconds) from 0-100 km/h / 0-60 mp/h ??
And with what weight, and how many kWatts?

Only a few Modded Stealth Ebikes on here will go 60MPH or faster. That said, Alex's Bomber, now in the hands of Grande Allesagio (Big Bore) would do 0-50mph in about 5-6 seconds and over 60MPH even though accleration starts dropping off after 50MPH. Hey Allex, did you have an 0-60MPH times noted?

I do not have a 0-100 km/h times noted and I'm going to check it before swapping my stock 5403 with this new guy here

But unfortunately these days I'm very busy with Christmas season stuff

Here's a little light relief. Back story is we only get about 600km to the rear Duro Razorback, even with this 40kg pip squeak riding it.

Thats classic! The power to weight ratio is off the hook for your son.

That is indeed an awesome video, but I'm struggling to understand how your only seeing 600km of use...that seems lower than most of us.

What type of terrain are you riding?

Cheers

CD, Re tyre wear, 100% off-road, but I think that little monkey uses way too much back brake and does more circle work than he'll admit to, I occasionally see circles up our neighbours road. How many km would you expect off-road with a razorback and a sensible adult rider?

I've worn through about 3 pairs of Wildlife Leopards on the rear now and see around 1500km with mixed road/trail use.
The Wildlife Leopards are the same as the Razorbacks, but with an even softer compound, so I would expect them to wear even faster.

I've been getting heaps more wear from my DMR RT's lately though. I was hoping to put them back on for one last time before they wore out, but they just keep going... They're not the greatest tire so I just want to use them up so I don't have to use them any more.

Cheers

I see a little detective work has revealed some insight. Yah, no kiddin the circles on you road, the aggressive rear braking contributes to advanced wear. When I ran duro razorback on my Bomber, way back in the day before I went to MC wheels, I was only getting about 300 miles out of the rear, vs 1400 miles out of the front. Between that and averaging about 8 pinch flats per month over a 4 month period, I relaced and went to MC tires. Will never go back.

Thanks guys.
Yes Rix, I am Going 19" MC on my Flux Alpha build, was very concerned about the extra unsprung weight, but its versus tyre wear and flats.
I like the fact that there is no right or wrong here, we just build (or modify) a bike to suit our own needs, be it a heavy fridge with ornamental pedals that eats any trail, or a nimble MTB with a motor. I don't kid myself that I'll get it right first build either, but that's all part of the fun.

Merry Christmas to you all, time to reluctantly leave the bike shed and pay some attention to family, relos, etc.

A very true statement, there is no wrong or right, just ebikes set up the way the rider wants them. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.

Merry Christmas Everyone. We are getting snow here in the desert. It will be a rare white Christmas for us.

1st Post - my new 2015 Bomber (Snow White) sb-744, and her older brother Blackie a sb-178 with upgraded shocks/brakes.

From a quick search I see Oilerlord was a prior owner of SN-178.
After a few small repairs it's a BEAST of a bike.
Needed: 1) front tire trued, 2) new nipple covers on the brake nipples, 3) regrease the vboxx, 4) replace the vboxx cables/shifter, 5) re-do the 5 pin connector, 6) replace a few small bolts, 7) new tires.

I am amazed at the difference between the old and new bombers. Really different handling, feeling bikes.

Perhaps it's the fact that the old bike has upgraded forks, but the old bike just feels more solid/planted, than the new bike.
Also more bottom end punch.
The new bike has more top end, and feels more nimble.

New bike: requires a 4 digit code as well.

Yes it's a custom 2wd sondors...... has an added dir drive front hub motor setup. 26mph max speed no PAS. 35mile range.

These stealth bikes are addictive! !!!

Well that's pretty cool too. No reason it has to hide shamed in the dark garage. Be proud of who you are little blue so does!!!

Glad you popped over here to ES, bikes look great, the service you performed on 178 was a great call. So, which would be faster offroad in the trees on a tight rocky trail?

I'll let you know once things dry out. I've had sb178 all over for the past month. It just eats up the terrain.

I'm thinking I'll keep the white sb744 street oriented for now.

Also ordered a new fighter for my wife. She can't really manage the bomber well.
There are some pretty good eoy sales on 2015 stock plus no waiting 5 mo like I did on sb 744.

I'll be curious to compare 2012 sb to 2015 sb to 2015 sf
