EABS on new KT 48v SVP Sinewave Controller?

I have just converted my new Fatbike to Electric power, with a Mxus 3000w V2, 4T Hubmotor, KT 48v SVP Sinewave Controller 45amp rating, KT-D12L PAS, KT LCD6 display, and operated with a Wuxing half bar Twist Throttle, with a Front Brake cutoff switch.
The entire kit was supplied by ChangZhou SuRing Motor Technology Company Ltd, and their product manager Jack Chen was superb. They supplied a custom built Mxus motor with a 190mm axle to fit my dropouts, and laced the motor with 12g black stainless spokes into an exact matching Jinhua Powercircle red Anodised Rim with Triangle shape cutouts, matching the OEM wheels on my bike.. All this done via emails, and providing Jack with photos of my bike..!
Anyway, I have now enjoyed a few rides, and having customised the Controller setup in the P and C settings via the LCD6, everything is working superbly, and the brake regeneration set at level 3 is very effective, and you can also see it's working by the battery capacity display cycling as the regeneration sends voltage back to the battery.
What was unexpected, is that when riding using the twist throttle, if you gradually return the throttle towards the off position, there is noticeable motor braking, and this becomes increasingly powerful as the throttle is further wound back. Once the bike has nearly stopped, the braking turns off. If you snap the throttle closed, the power cuts and the motor freewheels immediately. Using the throttle in this way for braking doesn't cause the Battery capacity display to flash, or show any other signal on the display that I could see.
None of this is mentioned on the KT website, and the controller /motor/throttle/display/PAS sensor/ebrake switch were all plug and play from the supplier, and I have no other unidentified wires.
So, is this EABS..?
It's no problem, and it works really effectively, but I can't find it documented anywhere..

Thank you, amberwolf,

This is my first ebike build, and ES has been a great, helpful resource whilst speccing and building my new bike.. I, like so many others, are so happy to have discovered this great ebike hobby!

Despite reading so much on this forum, I hadn't obviously come across "slip regen" before, and thought what I was experiencing was in fact EABS.. Well, I am very happy to have this feature on my bike.. It makes my Twist throttle a "one stop shop" for both powering and braking the bike in most normal circumstances.. Excellent..!

It does suprise me though, that major ebike component manufacturers such as KT do not offer more product information, and detailed specifications.. You can't even find the Programming instructions for their LCD /Controller interface on their website.. You have to search it out on a 3rd party suppliers web page..
