EABS port

I am new in the ebike world, and just beginning my 500W ebike build. I just found that the Ebike controller (36V 22A model series #820-smc001 no brand) actually has a EABS connector. See this picture from the munual or see the figure below, although the seller said there is no Regen Braking function in a very vague phrase. What does this mean to have this EABS port? The EABS port has four lines, there is no instruction on how to use it. I wonder if the port can turn the "regen braking" on and off if the seller didn't know this? Or, it can change the way brakes connected to the power cut-off control? The brake levels are connected to the "low level" brake controller ports as shown in the manual.


Hopefully someone can give me a hint what can I use the EABS port. Thanks.
