Ecotric 810 display

I got a ecotric 810 display on my ecotric bike so I had to order another 810 display and the motherboard is different and when I try to power it on it just shuts right back off here is my cell number if anyone can help thanks 740-776-8340

It looks like Ecotric uses two versions of the display, the 4 wire analog, and possibly the 5 wire digital. This is based on looking at documentation on their website and the videos they link to on YouTube. The first video shows their 4 wire unit, and the second video is a link from their website on how to troubleshoot the 810 display. At a later point in the video, they test the display connector for battery level voltage, and you can see clearly that there are 5 conductors on that unit.

 
Now I see what those bozos did to you, They used a 5 pin JST connector on the controller, but only put 4 wires into it, The 5th position is empty, It's their fault,

You're going to need a 4 pin 810LED, and when you get it, you'll have to splice the wires into a 5 pin connector so it fits the controller. Or maybe Ecotric will seel you a 4 pin unit woth the 5 pin connector,

It's easy to buy pre-crimped and wired JST-SM pigtails in all the pin counts, and then splice into whatever you're working with.

Me, I'd ditch the display and use a no nonsense controller.
