Electric skateboard motors as RC motor alternative?

Several searches came up with little, I'm wondering if anyone has tried these new e-board motors for moderate power mid drive. Some have belt reduction drives available, prices are far lower than RC motors of similar rating.

I can't understand what you are talking about.

Rc motors have been used to power bicycles for a long time.

They have, but the e-board motors and controllers, on paper at least, are 1/5th the price for similar specs. I'm just wondering whether that's real or not.

Electric skateboards basically do use RC motors, and I don't know which RC motors you're looking at but they've got the price down about as far as possible if you go to places like hobbyking.

I was GOING THAT ROUTE, TO KEEP IT 24V TO BACKPACK, but, I neeed IT TO BE A REASONABLE CADENCE ETC. sO, I STILL HAVE THE MOTOR.
