Looks like the "GNG " trike motor to me! nice! I would put a 24" front and 17" rear on this thing

yeah i would prolly also be interested in running a bit larger OD front wheel..
this would raise the bars some for a more adult size fit
also slacken the head angle for high speed / dh stability
and a larger front wheel will benefit rollover of obstacles etc..
also a moto rear wheel would benefit durability there as well..
looks like the main frame and swing arm are all steel this year,
so you know what that means..
adjustments to the frame if needed
looks like some pretty serious landing gear suspension tho 8)
battery looks to have decent range as well..
overall very impressed..

I have a Kuberg trail x. Its not that great. Oset is much better. Kuberg is a primitive bike, needs a lot of modification to make it a good ride. Stock rear suspension is way to hard, tire spins on rim, chain falls of if not perfectly in line, control is abrupt, even on slow settings, handle bars pin kids legs every fall, brakes are poor. Heaps of power though, need to remove lead weights and it would fly. Going to relace rear hub into a pit bike rim, get a new controller, replace shock, fit riser bars, perhaps 20" front wheel.

last i checked oset is still using lead batts as well.. :p
kuberg has made some improvements this year
but im not that interested in their small kids bikes myself..
also, i wouldn't really expect their cheapest model to be that great anyways

i want something bigger with more power..
the free-rider looks promising but we will see how it performs & holds up soon. :D
if oset, mecatecno, kuberg etc make a bigger bike available in the us
for under $5k then i will be interested..
the future of etrial looks bright!

Sherco motorcycles joins electric kids bike market..

(hopefully the engine graphics are a removable sticker haha i would maybe put lightning bolts;)

Nice pics of that Kuberg bike with the GNG style BLDC, according to their site they're using a 9t driven sprocket on the motor, and that looks like a 100t+ sprocket in the rear. Should be lots of fun at 100v :)

I'm really digging that bike, would love to get some closeups of the drive sprocket, looks like there's some space between the motor and chain, is there a planetary gear reduction at the motor shaft?

That motor is available in a variety of sizes, should be quite simple to drop in the $200 "big block" that's being discussed in the GNG thread which should handle 10,000w peaks.

edit: watched the video in HD, definitely just a long motor shaft. Any idea what reduction they're using on this bike?

or maybe not...

looks like its his white bomber
(pause at very beginning)
the hurricane has a moto seat..
even more impressive w the bomber
since i think its heavier than the hurricane..

yeah looks like room for a bigger motor in the frame! :)
