About 10 years ago, option video was pretty much the baddest realist show on earth. It was like the first UFC events where everything but eye gouging was allowed, and there were no rounds.
Now it's kinda watered down and more into clowning around than hardcore street racing, which was what made it so popular.
Those drivers are some of the best in the world. The show used to be about running from cops at 200mph on public highways and drifting 1000hp cars on the streets, and making high stakes freeway point-to-point races where cars engines EXPLODED into fireballs and crap, and people got hurt and cars got totaled with people racing them for pride and money and respect. In other words, it used to be perfect.
Then after like option video #40, they got all mainstream and tame and now they go pud around tracks, and you never even feel anything close to adrenaline anymore watching the videos.
There was a day when you were shaking on the edge of your seat for the next option video release.
