ELFEi BionX tuning tool on the D 500?

Hi all,

There's a tool on elektrofahrrad-einfach for unlocking the 20mph speed on canbus Bionx Systems:

BionX has a new system, the D500:

Does anyone know if this unlocking kit works on the D500? The kit says it's made for canbus systems, but the D500 is pretty new, newer than the tool. Can anyone confirm?
