Error code 21 speed sensor again 2022 Biktrix LT-Stunner Help!

Maybe some one encountered this issue with the speed sensor. The speed sensor is in the hub. The torque sensor only works with a lot of pressure and meager assist. Throttle works fine. The three motor hall sensors light up on the tester.
How would I test the voltage on the white speed sensor on the PCB and what would be the correct voltage.
Controller is sealed.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about that particular model, but most speed sensors are hall sensors. You can use the same tester you used for the motor halls. It should toggle when you turn the wheel.

And if you need to, you can use an external wheel sensor isntead. Just install the same number of magnets on the wheel as were used on the itnernal speed sensor (often six, sometimes only one).

There is one magnet on the interior hub casing. Where on my motor cable would I connect a wire from an external wheel sensor? The controller is completely potted. Would this fix the torque lag also?

My ebike tester doesn't have a place for the white wire coming from the PCB on the motor. I guess I could attach the white to one of the hall sensors leads on the tester and see if it lights up. If it doesn't , what would that indicate? Failed sensor?

Yes. When the motor is turning, it should blink. It may blink too fast to see if the motor is running, but you should see it if you turn the wheel backward slowly by hand. No blink would indicate a sensor failure (or the wiring to the sensor).

The wheel sensor would connect it's signal output to the speed signal input of the controller (whatever wire is used presently for the existing speed sensor's signal output).

The other wheel sensor wire (if it's two wire like most) goes to the system ground.

If it's a three wire wheel sensor, the third wire is usulaly 5v power input.

Clip all the halls and Isolate them.

Well, I gave up and took it to Sugar Creek bicycle in Sugar Valley, Ohio. The PCB needed some solder touch-up at the speed sensor. Goodbye error code 21.
