ES mentioned in Momentum Mag article by Justin!

Justin's article mentions 120million eBikes in China, a million in Europe and substantial numbers in Japan. But how many eBikes are there in North America? Too few for any market research institute to count? Too marginal a niche market?

Another piece of interesting quote (IMHO):
Boundaries of technology and innovation are being pushed not by well-funded research labs or big corporations, but by hundreds of individuals who see endless possibilities for pedal-assist electric bikes to transform their lives and maybe the world around them.

The academic and industrial research that our politicians trust will lead us to future technologies are somehow unable to nurture true innovation. They are too often followers rather than innovators. Only when government funding is announced and therefore $$ is guaranteed will university or company high brass expand a research area.

... and I see years later that Momentum Mag is now offering (free) "The E-Bike Guide: Here’s What You Need to Know"

Can't comment on the veracity of this "guide". Might be sorta like trying to condense years and years of postings from ES.
