ESC help! PLS!

Hello People!
I'm building my first E-longboard, and I have an 8s lipo setup. I can't find an ESC that could support a cont. current of 60A and work off of this voltage. Any advices? P.S., I'm on a really low budget, so pls dont suggest ESC that are hundreds of dollars.

you might need to end up going with a 6s setup for low budget, just fyi. There are a million 6s esc's for under 100$, but I can't think of a single 8s esc for cheap...

Get Torqueboards 12s ESC

Sure it's $150 but gives you headroom to upgrade batteries down the road and very dependable.

Or buy the beta VESC for about $110.

VESC looks like the future of DIY E-skates but now its a little quirky and unproven.

The reason why I use 8s batteries is because I already have them, and purchasing 6s one would put me over budget sadly. I'm trying to make this happen with 180$. I know it's not much, but I built the deck myself, I already have batteries, so all I need is the electric components. I was hoping there would be some cheap ESCs that I could use :/

I've seen a few castle Xl2's out there for $160. They're easy to program and non problematic.

Post the maximum amount you're willing to spend, we are not mind readers. That said, you can get a Turnigy 120a HV ESC for $90 at HK

There are a few guys here using the Turnigy dLux, you can get a 120a version for about $85.

Unfortunately at 8s those are your options. There aren't any others. You were given some solid advice. The only other thing left for you to do would be to cut 2 cells off of 2 of your batteries and then cheap out on a 120a 6s esc from hobbyking.
