Finally an electric car i like the look of! Not too shabby performance either 0-60mph in under 4 seconds
186mile per charge and fully charged in 30 minutes!

Be good for a around town run about and making ICE drivers in their imports look silly at the lights :p

I like how we're seeing expensive models now and for the past couple of years, because economic history seems to traditionally have the expensive r&d models come out before the model for the masses comes out. I really hope that's the trend for electric vehicles.

Won't make all imports ICE drivers look silly :) On slicks, I will drop a high 2-second 0-60 in that things mouth and watch it choke on it. :p On street tires though, a little under 4 is the best I can do :( Anything under 4 feels very strong. Anything under 3 feels like getting your neck broken. When I launch at 10,000rpm on gooey hot 24.5" x 8.5" slicks at 7psi with a big shot of N20, it feels like the dashboard is going to rip out of the car and end up in my lap, and the feels like the seat is going to rip out of the car and you will end up in the back of the hatch. lol

Great description for the word ACCELERATION..

If I'm getting my math right, 20 mph / second is around 1 G. 1-2 G feels like getting your neck broken?

Oh, wait, I'm comparing gravitational acceleration which enacts on all parts of the body at once to a car that transmits the acceleration to almost the entire body but the head (and possibly legs). Ok, I guess that'd make sense.

I will give you a ride sometime, and after you clean your shorts out, you can tell me what it feels like ;) It's that 1-2 shift where you go from 1g to 0g back to 1g over 1/10th of a second that gets your neck. Having a heavy helmet on your head doesn't make it any easier on the neck either :)

what kind of car does 0-60 in 2 seconds? the 1.3 million dollar 1000hp veyron does 0-60 is 2.5 seconds. seems like it would have to be some ridiculous car to beat that by a full half second.

1992 Honda Civic hatchback (powered by demons) I barely duck under 3 seconds, which is why I said "high 2 seconds".

The veyron is one of the few stock cars that can beat me in the quarter mile. I have a better power to weight ratio, but it wins from its better areo. I don't feel too bad about it though, because my civic also serves the functions of a light truck for me, as I regularly haul engines and trannys and things in the gutted rear hatch area, and a Veyron can't do that. :)

I can beat the McClaren F1, the Enzo, and the Porsche Carrera GT by a pretty handy margin though :)

My next engine build will let me beat the pesky Veyron as well, but I've never seen one show up at the track yet. :(

My bro Kevin's civic will beat a Veyron by almost a second :) This pass he runs 9.74, but he had excessive wheel spin. Personal best of 9.41. He has a power/weight ratio that is more than DOUBLE a Veyron :) Gotta love cheap little civic 4-bangers :)

may i ask what is done to the civic? im gonna take a wild guess and say some kind of b-series turbo. nonetheless, sub-1 ton car with more than 200hp is enough to get the bones moving. i would say comparing ICE power and electric is like comparing the sun to the moon. two different stories.

The kevin's white civic and Zol's red civic both run a turbo on 2.0L B-series. Kevin de-tunes the car to roughly 900whp for the track, because he is still sorting out chassis problems. On the street he gives it everything its got, cause after 140mph or so, he can hook-up solid.

In my civic, I run a 2.0L K20Z1, PPG dog box, twin-disk, DSS 5.9 axles, and 2 stages of nitrous. Its more costly to go this route, but I just hate the way turbos make a car feel like a slug in corners. I get 35-40mpg :)

Its fun to break things down with supercars.

The veyron has 16 cylinders and 4 turbos. It has 1001hp, and weighs 4300lbs, and AWD. It runs a 10.3-10.5second quarter mile.

Kevins Civic has 4 cylinders and 1 turbo. It has over 1100hp(900 at the track) on high boost, and weighs 1900lbs. It runs 9.4-9.7 in the quater mile.

My Civic has 4 cylinders, no turbo, and a bottle. It has over 470hp, and weighs 1825lbs. It runs 11.6s with no spray, and 10.70s with spray. With my new engine setup, it will run as fast as a Veyron with no nitrous, no turbo, and on pump gasoline. :)

Early 1990s Honda Civic = Slayer of everything on the street :)

Wow. I totally wasn't expecting you to say k-series especially out of a new civic. I always hear of the Rsx and tsx motors as a swap. Very nice setup indeed. I bet you surprise the hell out of a lot of cars when you drive it.
