I have converted my Ezee Forza by removing the Ezee Assist Factor control and replacing it with a throttle. It now works great on the throttle, but I have to pedal as the pedelec sensor is still connected.
My question is how to disable the pedelec sensor so that I can use it with the throttle only, i.e. without pedalling if I want to :?:

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I'm sure a certain rather intolerant know-it-all over on a certain UK ebike forum will be able to help, John..............

I've got a Forza too, and was thinking about the same conversion. Can you provide a little more details about your throttle conversion?

Hi MikeB,

Mine was fitted with an EAF control which I find quite scary, so I decided to change it for a throttle which is much more controllable. The only other mods I have made were to de-restrict it.
I bought one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Electric-E-sc...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:1|293:1|294:30, a JST 3 pin connector the same as the one on the EAF control and some JST pins. Unpluged the EAF control and fitted the throttle to the handle bars after connecting the throttle cable using the JST connector. Simple as that.
